Is it skipping the timer/event or cancelling (deleting) it ??

Deleting. I've set it 3 times already since last Monday. Just checked it and it deleted number 3 so I set it up again :)

Is this a sat recording or an OTA event.
MY 622 won't hold any event for my local CBS OTA. Other OTA stations are fine, the timer is still there but shows no events to be recorded. It does show an event until I turn off the 622.

When you set the timer, try the NEW box for your OTA timer

The previous times I've set it I've Used:

Type-DVR
Frequency-New Episodes

Its shows as Priority 23 of 23

Each time ive done that it cancels by the time Monday comes around. Maybe I should try "ALL".

I record 24 every week from my local Fox affiliate WOFL 35 Orlando OTA with no problems at all on my 622.

You have it set for the lowest priority (23 of 23). You may have another timer bumping it. Try setting it to 1

You mentioned in another post (at SatGuys ?) that you record 24 from 9-10 and then another show from 10-11. For the time being, cancel or delete both the 9pm and 10pm event and re-create the event for 24.

Ill try that. Maybe the fact the 10pm is on a diff OTA channel and the 622 sets to record a few minutes past is the issue.

That would create a conflict, not completely delete the event or timer.

Do you have "Hide skipped" turned on ?? If you hit "DVR" (3) times (maybe (4), you get the scheduled recordings listing. You will either see things scheduled to record only or you'll see things scheduled as well as things being skipped, whether from conflicts or they're repeats when you only want new, and so on.

Yeah, I do have hide skipped. But I do see the skipped programs in the guide with a red x, 24 never got a red x, it just showed nothing. I reprogrammed 24 and csi miami and changed my default to start 0 minutes early and finsih 0 minutes after.

I have had the same problem, with both of my 622s and it is only with FOX 24 OTA
Never with anyother OTA station from Sav. or Charleston.
I have the same problem with the Nascar race on sat. night, it is gone from sched as soon as I turn off 622 and turn it back on.

I can sched the same program on Fox 28 (Sav.) and it will stay in. but not Fox 24
I do not want to record Fox 28, they do not have HD
