I'm going with a SD system right now, If I decide to go HD sometime next year what's the upgrade cost? I know the Receiver will cost me $99, but what about the new dish installation?

The dish, installation and multiswitch (if needed) is included with the upgrade, and the true cost is $99 for the lease upfront fee and $19.95 for handling and delivery (plus any applicable tax.)

The above comments are my own because I don't know if anyone would care about my opinions anymore.

D* generally bundles the HD upgrade. Dish and box for one price. They're pushing the HR20's at $199 w/ a dish. Not sure what the deal is with the H20, but it could be 99 w/ dish included. Call and ask as deals seem to vary based on your customer history and the particular CSR you get.

The antenna and installation is included. Note that an OTA antenna is not included in the installation. If you want to be able to take advantage of the OTA tuner, you'll have to make other arrangements.

You are looking at a good time to upgrade. Those of use who early adopted paid a lot more for our sets, boxes and get little to show for it. If the birds go up in a couple of months, then there will be more content and longer install waiting periods to get that content. So the money you spend now will have you ready for the "flood" in a few months with less wait.

I bought their OTA antenna, and they installed it when they did the dish.
