I have a HR20-700 one of the first that was released and it's gone through all the updates and still working (knock on wood). With the recent GUI update I noticed there was a new setting in the setup menu under "Display"where you can set the guide to come up first instead of the category. The only issue that I saw was that if you press the guide twice it will bring up the category. They just changed the order around.

Yes they just changed the order around. We have actually been able to do this for many months now with a hidden menu.

Speaking of hidden menus, how does one access them(it)?
Press menu-->search-->keyword-->type "IAMANEDGECUTTER"-->continue-->when in finds nothing press and hold the menu and info button on the front of the unit together for 2 seconds and let go. I hidden menu will pop up. You only have to do the search one time. Next time just press the menu and info button.
