Simple question...

How many of you are using a Single Tuner...
How many of you are using a Dual Tuner...

If you have more then one system in your home...
Vote based on your lowest number of tuners in use...

Earl do you mean Single tuner receivers as opposed to Duel tuner receivers?

I think the question is whether or not you have 2 coax runs to your HR20.

I thought this was the HR20 forum. Did they make them with single tuners too?

HR20 -

You can have one SAT feed - Single Tuner
You can have two SAT feeds - Dual Tuner

(Those testing SWM... Dual Tuner, even though you have 1 cable)

No... but if you only have the ability to run one cable to your HR20.
The system will run in Single Tuner mode.

I have 2 line to my HR20, 1 of 2 on my old-school Hughes Tivo in the bedroom, so, 3 out of 4 tuners used.

One of each... An HR-20-700 with one tuner, and an HR-20-100 with both connected.

In that case, according to Earl's instructions, you should have voted for single tuner, however so far no one has voted only one tuner.

I've got two HR20's, both with a single coax and both with dual tuners working. Yeah, I'm using an SWM. OTA also.

2 HR20's with only 1 tuner because I cannot run a second line to both rooms they are in and need a 8 channel SWM bad.

1 HR20 with dual tuners.

I want to add 1 or 2 more HR20's but both rooms only have 1 line and cannot run another so I am waiting for a SWM.

I would add two more HR20s if I had the option of one sat cable for two sat tuners. If they would add in the OTA feed from my antenna on that same cable then they could stamp the HR20 "Ready for prime time".

We have the following setup:

Living room (main viewing) HR20 with two cables, so dual tuner.
Bed room (alt viewing) HR20 with ONE cable. so single tuner.
Guest room (some viewing) H20 with naturally one cable.

We have th AT9 and naturally 4 outputs and all are used, so the Bed room HR20 only gets one cable. Had not had the time to get into the attic (Texas and way to hot) to run the second cable to the bed room HR20. Have a WB68 but would like to try a SWM module.
HR20-700: HDMI 1080i to Sony KDL-46XBR2
