Well, I'm finally ready to make the leap to HDTV in a few months. What is my best tactic for getting the best deal that I can. I've heard from various sources, that as soon as you call and say the word "cancel", the offers start. I seriously haven't decided yet whether I want to switch to Comcast cable or stick with DirecTV. I'm currently using my 2 RCA receivers that I've had since 1996, and I'm looking at upgrading to an HD-DVR arrangement, whether it is Sat or cable. What kind of response can I expect from my "threat" as a long time subscriber to leave?

Thanks,
Chuck
