Blazers never sued Comcast, they looked at their legal alternatives.

Problem is that the contract required a certain # of households and with the Supersonics moving out, NBA gave Seattle territory to the Blazers, and Comcast added the channel to their Seattle systems and met the # of households requirement in the contract. End of discussion, there isn't anything they can do.

Ironically Directv owned Root Sports reportedly charges more per viewer than what Comcast has asked for. Really both competing channels have part-time content - Comcast has the Blazers and Root has the Mariners. Neither has much else beyond that.

So if Sacramento Kings move to Seattle we can hear about an agreement in the works "any minute" now.......

what about phoenix maybe moving up there as well. What network will they go to?

Now CSN NW may be more likely then CSN Philly but it stay be a CSN Houston (that is on very few systems)

CSN Philly not only has the old being lock out of DBS issues also has the TCN tieing.
I want CLTV / CLTV HD on direct tv.

Its so easy to find the games on the internet now I don't care if Comcast and Directv work out a deal or not.

Yep. There are even ways to get HD quality. Where there's a will, there's a way. ;)

This channel will never be on satellite.  And just as well.  I don't even know, nor do I care who is on the Blazers team anymore.  That franchise is dead, and has no fanbase anymore because of this disaster.  I hope they are contracted from the league and this channel sends Coincast into bankruptcy.

This isn't the 2003-2006 era. I agree with your sentiment regard CSNNW, but your opinion on the Blazers is almost 10 years out of date.

The franchise is dead because a massive portion of the state cannot see the games at all and the team blows.

Dish and Directv are the main holdouts now. Charter just added the channel, but not in the tier Root Sports is in. It will cost anyone who wants it 10 dollars more to get it. It looks like Comcast is now willing to take deals for the channel that are for a higher tier than they used to. I wonder if this trend will continue with other sports channels in the near future as far as RSN's and networks like Pac 12 network go.

I wonder if they are still talking?
Blazers don't seem to say they are anymore.

How might you find the games on the internet? It is huge bummer that they just can't work out a deal!

Directv NBA League Pass Web Schedule is listing Nov. 1st CSNNW Portland Trail Blazer game @Denver as not blacked out in the Portland area. Maybe they finally reached an agreement.

More likely an error.

ETA: That same tool says that I would get the opponents feed of the Wizards games, which I don't.

Doesn't matter. I've had NBA League Pass for years in Portland. Blazer games are always blacked out. Tune in and see what you get.

probably nothing to get too excited about. Perhaps just a miss fire - but it was nice to see them.

The game was blacked out here, which is why I have 3 providers now. CSN Northwest is only available on Charter cable here.

I'm in Portland and got the Blazers-Bucks game with NBA League Pass on DirecTV. Those games had been blacked out.
