IIRC, after the all star break the EI package dropped in price to half of what it was. I see the DirecTV site has it listed at $129 through August 31st. Wasn't the package only $169 for the season to begin with? So, a $40 drop in price and half the season is gone. That seems pretty ridiculous.

I thought it was more than that, but I may be wrong.

$169 is the early-bird price. $199 is the price after the season starts.

Ah, reminiscing. When I joined DirecTV in the 90s, I got the second half of the season free because of when I joined.

That was so long ago.
