It looks like yet another TT dock has failed.  My hard drive is beeping which I believe means that it does not have enough power.  I swapped out the dock and put the drive in and now there is no beeping.

The TT dock powers up.  I have never had this issue before.  Have others?

Beeping?  Gotta admit I've never heard of that.

Checking in over two years later.  The 2TB WD20EARS drive in a Thermaltake dock has worked flawlessly.  Not a single issue!   I havent been around, because I havent had any problems.

Thought you might all want to know...

I'll accept this, if you will provide 1) SMART data; 2) scan surface (less then 2 hours task).

MHDD self bootable CD is preferable, but free SW  Victoria could done the job under Windows.

If you will not open a hood, you'll never know how your engine doing and when it will crashed. ;)

OK.  Sorry this took so long P Smith.

Smart info is attached.   Scan in progress.

well you have a breaker: #197 count is enormous (!) > 1300, that's _not_ normal

I would run all self-tests (not just Scan) to see if the number will be reduced to 0, then watch reloc counter #5

max value for #5 is 4096 for Seagates, WDC drives should have no more, perhaps 1/4 of that
