i have both an hr20-100 and an hr10-250. i also have the dtv protection plan. so i was just curious if anyone might have any feedback on how much longer (with the switchover to mpeg4) dtv will replace defective hr10-250's with hr20's?

As long as you have the protection plan. If the HR10 fails, the only replacement IS the HR20.
