Wonder if D* will change the channel groupings when the new Sat is turned on.

I mean we know Big 10 is going to be @220 ( but isn't that suppose to be HD?) Will they carry a SD and HD channel for it?

I'm gonna guess that any HD channels that have SD counterparts (most of them) will be numbered the same as the SD channel. This is the case now with the locals.

BTN is kind of a moving target as they plan to cast a number of games (up to four?) at once. It remains to be seen how the distributors will handle all the feeds.

This is the Dish Net list, and you've got the months wrong.

August 15th: MHD, Golf/Versus, Animal Planet, Science, TLC, Discovery
Sept. 1st: History

Wonder if DIRECTV will populate the guide in advance for the new HD or if it will just show up 24-48 hours in advance. My guess it would be the latter.

Guess well find out in the coming weeks.

I think I should get a special award for being the first person to bring up the national HD channel numbers topic on 5/23/07. ;)
