Today DBSTalk.com welcomes two great contributors to the staff. Doug Brott (formerly brott) and Stuart Sweet (previously lurking as the Shadow’s alter ego, lamontcranston) have graciously accepted postions as moderators in the DIRECTV forums. Both gentlemen have great knowledge in the DIRECTV areas and participated in many Cutting Edge tests.

Doug and Stuart were part of the trio working on the The DIRECTV Plus® HD DVR: A Look at the 1st Year article. Doug was instrumental in the first versions of the HR20 wishlist. Stuart created the Comprehensive Report Card for the HR20.

Please join us in welcoming Doug and Stuart.

Thank you all. Without sounding corny I owe it to a lot of others who helped me get here by encouraging me and helping me out with my own HR20 issues.

I'll do my best to live up to the title, and be a fair and reasonable moderator!

A special post goes to my wife, who will still be known as Mrs. Shadow until she deems otherwise, who has been incredibly supportive since day one.

Well deserved congrats to Doug and Stuart.

You all have made this such a wonderful hangout for this retired engineer. Just last evening while having dinner and drinks with my wife, I ran into a former co-worker who asked me what I'd been up to. I replied that I had become a dbstalk junkie (er CE'r):D
This site is truly a great site for D* customers and just as importantly, for DIRECTV!:goodjob:
