To Do List Interface

In the To Do List, right now the top half of the interface says

These events are currently scheduled. Press SELECT on a title to view more info.

If that blue area just showed the program details of the currently selected program so that you didn't have to hit SELECT to see them it would save a lot of time with culling the To Do List.

Just a thought. Thanks!

Isn't something like this on the HR20 Wish List? If not, maybe it should be.

Yes, this is on the wish list. If you want this changed, vote on the wish list. D* does seem to use the wish list to some degree when making updates/changes.

"Show program description in the "To Do List", instead of a static message."

Second to last item in section 2 of the wish list.

Bedroom: HR24-100 with AM21 & Philips PHDTV1 Antenna; WD10EVCS 1TB drive in Antec MX-1; HDMI to Dynex 32" TV; connected to Linksys WRT54G via the HR44-700; UPS
(1) SL3-SWM LNB dish with 1x4 splitter (2 lines direct to each room: 2nd line in family room connected to power inserter; 2nd line in bedroom not used).

Yes, this does annoy me. The show title and description should show at the top as you highlight each one. You should not have to select the program to see this.
