Dual ethernet ports on HR20-100

Has anyone determined why there are two ethernet ports on the HR20-100? Could the other be a "pass through" of some sort. Or could it be for some sort of engineering/maintenance input?

At the moment there is no expected use for the second ethernet port. But if there is one, you'll be able to hear it here first. :)
