When I got my HR20 back in December and signed up for the HD package, I recall reading some posts about a 4-month free trial. Should I have received a free trial of the HD package?

Just depends on the offers they're running at the time. Sometimes they give you some credits, sometimes not. I know every time I've upped my package, they've given me various credits to either try another service, for the new package to see if I like it, or to try a higher package for a few months. But it just depends. I never ask, but am glad when they offer.
