I don't have this channel in my guide, but I got most of the other new RSNs in HD. I got 620-1, 630-1, 634-1, 637-1, and others. Will this 631-1 trickle in over the course of the day?

CCR 1958: Thanks. I had my filter on "HD Channels" and it didn't pick up the 631-1, but when I went to the "All Channels" filter, 631-1 and the other RSNs I wasn't seeing with the HD Filter on, I now have them in the guide.

That's weird though. 631-1 SSHD I wonder why it doesn't show up with the HD Channel guide. Only with the all channels guide?

I get serching for signal on satellite 771 error on this channel. 631-1, in atlanta, GA.

Standard 631 works just fine.

Could be an issue with your BBCs (or SWM if you have one), or perhaps an LNB issue on your dish. How are your signals in 103? And more to the point, are you able to receive any other new MPEG4 HD channels?

RSNs that have the -1 added are game only channels. So unless a game is on and in HD the channel will be off.

It's a "games only" channel, which means it won't show anything at any other time. So it's a black screen because there's no signal. In fact, I'd bet the channel isn't even truly active, just added to the Guide today. Remember, the Guide is completely virtual - any "channel" can point to any particular satellite/transponder combo Directv wants it to, or none at all.

My sports pack question is going to come next baseball season. I do get the sports package as well as the MLB-EI pack and included with that the super fan add on. Now with all the additional RSN`s available in HD will it behoove me to CANCEL the super fan and save I think it was $99{could be wrong on the price here} and receive plenty of hi-def broadcasts via the recently added HD RSN`s.
Also are the new HD-RSN`s local only or CONUS ???? I know this was a SportsSouth thread sorry to muddy the water on this one but does anyone have any idea on this matter.

Of course, this doesn't help Carolina Hurricanes fans. :( Our games are nearly always shown on the alternate 633.

New HD RSNs are now CONUS. As far as Super Fan for MLB EI no one is sure yet.
