Post the address you sent it to.

SNY should care even if D* doesn't.

bump.

in addition to sending an email 3-4 weeks ago, I just called them (http://www.sny.tv/help/contact.jsp) and asked to be transferred to the engineering department. i explained the situation to the person I spoke with. hopefully with all of this legwork that we are all doing it will eventually fall in the lap of someone who can set this straight.

I was on vacation and hadn't kept up here. Thanks for fighting the good fight byron.

We have had this "new" channel for 2 months now and it is still broadcast incorrectly.

Get a move on D*.

way to go D*.... you took down the version of SNY-HD that you were transmitting at the right resolution and left us with the screwed up version. top notch.

Noticed that last night.

Looks like we are screwed now.

So much for the power of the site and problems getting to the right people.

I sent earl a PM pointing out this thread and asked if he could get it to someone that could resolve it and i haven't heard anything from him. i can't believe that directv has let this go unresolved for this long.

I sent one on 10/9, 10/11, 10/12, & 10/16 without a single response from them. I have given up hope that they care at all or will offer any assistance in this matter.

well the channel i was watching it on (in the upper 600s) disappeared, along with the yes hd channel. now only 622 and 625 are left. has the resolution issue been fixed?

Not only SNY resolution is still screwed, but I just discovered that Fox Business Channel is in 1080i on D*, but it originates in 720p.

nope. still screwed up.

well that's a real freaking problem then. 622/625 were the ones with the problems, and the two mirrors in the upper 600s (damn i wish i could remember the channel numbers) were full res. why were they removed from the guide? when will this problem get fixed?
