Last week I had my hr44 swapped out because the 5 seconds back skip wasn't wrong properly. Most times it would jump back only 1 second. Sometimes 2 seconds. Thanks after multiple presses it would do the whole 5 seconds.
The tech thought the hard-drive was going bad so he swapped it out.
The new hr44 does the same thing. My hr24 works fine.

Yup, but it's not really an "issue". It's normal on a 44. One of the reasons I use a 24 for sports rather than suffer with the crappy software on the Genies. The 24s give you about a 6 second skip back. The Genies give you what you are seeing...a second or two skip back. Annoying, isn't it? And no amount of complaining about that has caused any changes to be made.
