It had nothing to do with my end. It was a global issue that was finally working starting the second half. Many people on twitter had same issue and they even had a banner up on the channel when the feed was completly offline.
Its a global issue always.. Something with the DD Feed.. Again...... If it happens again try switching to the PCM feed This happened alot on the NBC Notre Dame 4K games
Again.. Same exact issue Stadium sounds but no announcer audio... And it was not a Directv issue.. it was a feed to them problem Something with the Dolby Feed. Switching to PCM fixed the issue
If Directv is such a fail as you proclaim.. Feel free to switch to another provider
I most likely will change. Pretty hard that to say that Directv is doing a good job. There are many examples of AT&T ruining Directv since taking over.
Why is it that everyone in this forum tells people to leave anytime we complain about an issue?? We pay for a service. What's wrong with having expectations.
Sounds like you are assuming it's a feed issue. Last night game wasn't even NBC, it was ESPN.
Issues people dont have a problem with.. It is the comments like this "Directv is such a fail anymore. If they can't do 4k there is really no reason to stick around."
Again, whats wrong with that? 4k sports content is one of the main reasons I'm with Directv. It has a lot of issue so what's wrong with coming in this forum to voice it?
It's no secret that AT&T is slowing killing what was a pretty good company.
There's nothing wrong with reporting a issue and looking for a solution. Reporting a issue and whining about it and threatening to leave is something else. Hell, there's one guy on this site who's done nothing but complain about DIRECTV since I've been a member of this site yet he still remains a customer.
The time when the video went black was obviously an audio problem.
Changing to the other audio source is a good idea ... But in hindsight I don't see any reports of someone who did that and restored full audio. "If you would have" is not proven.
And yes, people are allowed to complain about the service. Complaining about posters is less appreciated. Please talk about DIRECTV.
Why not create a "Complain About DIRECTV Thread'? There the complainers can console each other in their hour of need, pass out crying towels and form bereavement groups.
Yup and state over and over again they are a .25 cent increase away from switching to 6 different streaming services.. and 10 dollars later are still here
I'm one of those customers. Still complaining since 2007. I downgraded from Premier to the Ultimate package. I had some audio problems, a satellite communication problem and the Mobile DVR would not let me set it up correctly . All of those issues have been mostly fixed. The audio problems are here and there.
My service works pretty good for the most part. On demand works good and recording is spot on.
Can anyone tell why I have three Telecom taxes on my DIRECTV bill? I have Satellite service with AT&T. No cellphone or home phone service. I feel that they are collecting these taxes unfairly. I am from Hudson Valley in New York!
We should be seeing those charges that nobody understands go away or at least get an explanation of why they exist. I've seen articles about legislation that should clear this up. IIRC Coumo is leading the fight in NY.
