That's bizarre, because that's about exactly what I record on Monday nights with my 722k, and I haven't seen that happen. Have you done a power cord reset (or a front panel reset button reset) to see of that may clear things up?

To force a guide data download, scroll to the end of the guide, and if it's at all out of date, you will get the option to download the guide data. If you don't get the option, rescan your OTA channels, and then scroll to the end of the guide, and you will get the option to download the guide...

Oops....sorry - I forgot to put that in there. To force a guide data download, scroll to the end of the guide, and if it's at all out of date, you will get the option to download the guide data. If you don't get the option, rescan your OTA channels, and then scroll to the end of the guide...

I'm posting this now, as 3 of our local OTA Denver channels went digital only last night, and 2 of them changed broadcast channels, which required an OTA channel rescan. Currently, there is a serious bug with all Dish Network HD DVR receivers that will cause your OTA timers to be "lost" for at...

Guys, try forcing a guide data fetch to see if the timer database rebuilds your OTA timers. (Meaning, force a guide data download by scrolling to the end of the guide. If you don't get the option to update your guide data, then rescan your OTA channels, and then scroll to the end of the guide...

I think that the 622 did appear at CES back then, but it had been in the hands of beta testers for 3 months prior to CES, and had the same interface as the 942. If you watch Allen Noland's video, it's clearly mentioned that the 922 is in the alpha stage right now, which means that there are...

Signal strenth of 66 is more than adequate, but you should also check satellite 110, and especially 129 on various transponders. Tune to one the HD channels that you're seeing the problems, and then go to the point dish screen. 119 and 110 signals are almost always stronger for users today...

The problem is that the 722 has only the one OTA tuner, which is dedicated to TV1 when in dual user mode. I agree, that it would be nice if TV2 could at least see the OTA, even if it couldn't control it, but that's not the way it works. The 722k (which I don't believe is shipping yet to...

William, I have 2 comments for you: 1. The 922 is supposed to be available "spring '09", which could put it as late as June 20th, or could be as early as March 22nd... My bet is it will be closer to the former than the latter... 2. On the other hand, I don't have a sling pro, but I do have...

Hello al_undy, and welcome to DBSTalk. :hi: Unfortunately, the only way to pass the OTA signals to your remote television is to run your 722 in single user mode. In dual user mode (ie independent tuners for each location), OTA is only viewable on TV1, not TV2.

Hello toadfacedfrump, and welcome to DBStalk! :hi: Yes, the HD receivers are compatible with SD sets, however, I believe these days that you'll have to order an HD package to lease one of the HD DVRs (I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong about this). Sounds like there's something...

If the PPV does not say it's a Limited Recording, you can keep the recording forever (assuming you don't have a hard drive crash on your internal or external hard drive. Limited Recording ones are the only ones that expire after you watch them. As for your first question, I have no idea.
