You are not alone. My 625 was changed as well. It makes it much more difficult to manange timers. You have go into the timer menu to delete a timer and that menu jumps back to top when you do delete a timer. Certinally many more "ket strokes" required for managing timers.

I subscribe to the Welcome pack. Today I see that AMC is now green in my guide and I no longer can view it. AMC was part of the Welcome Pack and I thought it would continue to be. I do not think AXS is a reasonable replacement for AMC, as the channels are not anything alike. We also recently...

Also STARZ channels are free the same weekend.

on the 625 (may... work on other receivers) when in dual mode you can watch a portion of a "in progress" recording and retain where you left off BUT ONLY IF you access the recording of the opposite tuner. ie... On TV1 you start watching a recording that is being recorded on TV2 (or vise versa)

As of Today (May 2nd) HDNMV 130 is now red in my guide. I have the "Welcome Pack" programing. We have had the channel ever since the AMC "snafu". I would have liked some notice of losing a channel, I assume it is now removed from the "Welcome Pack"?

I watch AMC programing but have found nothing worth watching on HDNET. Some may like HDNET and consider concerts & live programing better than what is on AMC. However, it is extremely clear to me that HDNET (or AXS) is NOTHING like AMC. As a replacement for AMC, HDNET is the WRONG choice...

I do watch AMC, but I don't think any channel deserves a "huge" price increase. However, I also think HDNET is a poor substitute for AMC. I see nothing on HDNET that is similar to AMC. No programs that interest me. TCM or FOXmovies would be a far better replacement.

AFAIK IF you OWN.... the 522 (keep it). You can disconnect it from the satellite antenna 1ST and cancel the service to it. (you won't have to a pay a monthly fee for it) Don't reconnect it to the satellite, you can watch what's already recorded on the 522. Get a new receiver/dvr for your...

If you are a new customer to Dish Network. Don't buy your receivers, just subscribe and Dish will lease you the receivers(ect) for the price of programing and you will get the promotions as well.

Att D.I.R.T. I have a question. Is Dish going convert a temp SD version for your SD customers? (I think you used 387 for SD in 2010) Channel 386 Sony Movie Channel seems to be HD only. The free preview slate on channel 103 says "available in HD" which implies that you can get it in SD. (the...

I would like to do OTA but the signal is way too weak even with a 4-bay 20 feet up. Had poor OTA with analog and virtually no OTA with digital. OTA is all about location. I suspect many rural areas have problems with digital.

What time does the preview start? It's 7:30am CST 1/27/12 and NO free HBO or Cinemax yet.

Gee Thanks Dish. I don't understand why Dish wouldn't want to have a free preview. Does it cost Dish to do this? Seems like a easy way to promote Dish & Showtime.

DVR time shift is the best way to watch TV (anytime of day or night). Pick what you like(up to 9 days in advance), watch it when you want and skip thru comercials.
