  1. General DISH™ Discussion
I have the MLB EI package on DISH and recently they got rid of all the local commercials on the RSNs, making it look more like mlb.tv during the breaks. I hate the silence of mlb.tv. I don't mind ads from other cities in between innings since it's a natural break in the game. Larger DMAs like...

Yes, around 2:30 pm EDT or a few minutes later. Guess it's time to order it. Good value for my wife and I who are baseball junkies.

Starting on October 23, 2020 Hulu will no longer have the rights to distribute certain Regional Sports Networks (RSNs) that are currently included with your Hulu + Live TV plan. While we were unable to reach an agreement with Sinclair Broadcast Group to continue offering channels like your Fox...

Glad those two channels are back :) . Too bad Sinclair, Apollo and Mission are not reasonable. Their bad deals are their problem .

Hulu + Live TV will take care of the missing WSB-TV channel and the missing Fox Sports South/Fox Sports Southeast channels for me. Don't anticipate ever seeing the RSNs again.
  6. DIRECTV Programming
Stopped my auto renewal for MLB EI. No need to activate the Multi Sports Pack for MLB Strike Zone as well.

DISH and FOX Corporation have reached a long-term agreement, and the FOX stations have been restored. Wonder how much it's going to cost everyone in the future?

Why does this not surprise me? Thursday Night Football on NFLN set to be blacked out to Dish/Sling TV subscribers

Meredith CBS 46 (ATL) back on this morning (THU 9-12-19).
  10. General DISH™ Discussion
I'm wondering if Meredith instructed the affected cities to lower the OTA digital signal strength recently. I was able to pull in 46-1 (CBS Atlanta) right after the channel went into it's outage just fine (signal strength 67). Recently, the signal strength is 0 (zero). Nothing changed on MY end.

I have plenty of other teams I follow via MLB EI. I can get the Braves recap on MLB Network Quick Pitch. Forgot to add TBS to the channel list for baseball on Sunday afternoons.
  12. General DISH™ Discussion
From Dish: DISH made every attempt to extend the contract so our customers would not be impacted but FOX Regional Sports Networks refused this offer. From Fox: The FOX RSNs offered to extend DISH and Sling under the current terms of our existing agreement, but DISH and Sling rejected our...

Texas (the whole state) appears to be claimed by the Rangers and the Astros. You are expected to watch those teams via your RSN or local channels. MLB EI is $178 for the year. Astros and Rangers games will be blacked out on MLB EI including the visiting team's broadcast.
  14. General DISH™ Discussion
Yes they do. It's RARE to not find the Braves on "one" of those two channels. I'm in the Braves marketing area and as such the Braves telecast and the opponent's telecast are blacked out for me in the EI package. I must watch them via my local RSN (FOX Sports South or FOX Sports Southeast).

Yes you do get the HD for home and away. It is VERY rare to have SD only feeds. If a game does not show up in the EI package, you may want to also check ESPN, ESPN2, FS1, FS2, MLB Network, FOX, ... for it.

Probably a software bug. Not only did it mess with the "search" menu, it also cut the program guide down to two days (tops). Appears to be have been fixed. Guess they don't believe in testing firmware changes first.

NFL Network's RED ZONE is worth every last cent! Try it during the football season. You can always drop the Sports Pack after the season is over.

Major League Baseball blackout policy - Wikipedia Looks like WV is Pirates and Indians territory. Enter your info at the following URL: Find Regional Sports Channels | MyDISH | DISH Customer Support This will confirm what you'll get.

Dish did have MLS Direct Kick at one time. It is gone. It is NOT part of the Multi Sport Pack (MSP). Looks like something called "bein sports" is what's in the MSP for soccer. Try various channels like FS1, ESPN, your regional RSN, ... for MLS games. I don't watch soccer but I thought this...

Sometimes you need to try channels outside the MLB EI package for any given night: MLB Network, ESPN, ESPN2, FS1, FS2, ... In some cases, an out of market game on a particular night may just not be available at all. MLB has some odd rules about who can see what.
