Depends on your state. Several states have laws that require service providers to pro-rate. If your state does not, then you pay for the full billing cycle (even if you go one day over, so make sure you know your dates).

I get an email when the bill is due and I pay it then. I also get paper bills as a back up, but like you said, they usually come with like 2 days to spare lol.

Sure we have. You're an old retired guy desperate for attention so you troll forums for products & services you don't even have under the mistaken assumption that anybody cares about your post count. You only attract attention because you generally post faulty information and start useless...

That's just you once again poorly blurring reality / trolling / padding your post count. Nobody says they have a 980Mbps ethernet port.

Wow, you're an iPhone expert too?? For a guy who doesn't use a cell phone, I'm surprised you dropped $1000 on an iPhone. I would have pegged you more as a flip phone or Dynatac guy.

I stopped doing Autopay when they stopped giving me the autopay discount. It's easier to get discounts from the bottomless pit of discounts BEFORE they get my money vs. trying to get a refund ;).

Or it could be that DIRECTV hears that a lot of people are cancelling ONLY because they are AT&T haters and they want to improve customer service? Personally, I haven't had any bad experiences with AT&T other then their web site sucking. Oh, wait, actually, that's not true, I used to get a...

On the plus side, Europe finally got Apple to stop putting stupid proprietary ports on the iPhone. Although, knowing them, they'll probably make a separate Euro compliant model.

Would he? Or would he spend 5 pages arguing about the characteristics of the stick? I bet the latter.

Seems to be tricky these days. "The Man" has opposed high profile mergers as of late. Nvda + ARM and Msft + Activision. Can't "The Man" approving Dave 💘Charlie.

Mine does that too. I logon to directv.com, sign in through att.com, then get redirected back to directv.com. It's better then the old way where you signed in through att.com and you got redirected about 30 times (which took about 30 seconds) before finally getting in.

Good movie, as was #2. #3 started to go off the rails. #4 & 5 were train wrecks. Bruce heavily tarnished his legacy with 20 years of straight to video garbage.

Violent Night was pretty good for a one time watch.

Good question. I haven't returned equipment for quite a while. If UPS is individually packing and shipping them, they must get a sweet discount. I returned an Amazon item that was labelled as "drop it off at the UPS store 'as is'". I was charged $2 for the dude to tape the box. Literally. But...

That's the whole point. Everything isn't in place. Which is why they haven't nuked the SD feed yet. What's the hold up? Duh, they still have enough people on SD equipment that ignored the pleas to upgrade that the bean counters don't want to shut everything off yet. They've already shut down a...

I said they likely don't carefully pack them individually. You do realize there is a middle ground between packing 5 - 10 or so in a box vs. exceeding " weight or dimensional limitations." right? Then again, I doubt UPS wants to stock pipe DirecTV boxes waiting for 5 - 10 to come in, so who...

You're confusing the act of doing something vs. talking about it, planning for it and laying the ground work for it. There's those "critical thinking skills" in action again  . You'd just wake up one morning and say "hey, I'm gonna push the button to scuttle the MPEG2 sats after my...

Handling doesn't require packing multiple items, nor does it require a shipping manifest. The act of shoving something in a box is handling. How do you know what UPS does with DIRECTV equipment once its received? Do you work for UPS or DIRECTV?
  19. DIRECTV General Discussion
75 miles? How do you ship stuff in general?
  20. DIRECTV General Discussion
Possibly a lot less then you think. When DirecTV wants a receiver back, they don't send you a box or a return label nowadays. They just send you a QR code and tell you to drop off the stuff at your UPS store "as is" and UPS "boxes it up and ships it back". I doubt UPS is individually carefully...
