Yep. Only problem with the diagnostic code is that there is no SL-5 present. I did the same reset for the HR24 that I did for the HR21. Set to LNB-5 then back to LNB-3 with B-Band and all codes cleared when I re-ran the diagnostic test. No more code 83 and yet the menu settings are identical...

Our HR21 (B-Band - 3 LNB) starting outputting the same message. Ran diagnostics with a consistent error code of 43. Noticed 0xabf software was loaded two nights ago. Ran setup selecting 5 LNB dish. When receiver detected that was the wrong dish, went back and selected correct 3 LNB dish...

I have to agree with that. Wouldn't trade the single remote for anything. And, the MSC-5000/6000s are great for emulating the peanut remote. Not a single difference - even get the thumbs-up and thumbs-down graphics.

I'm using the MSC-400s as well (master and slave) for the DirecTV boxes but with IR. The DirecTV boxes work perfectly on IR, so I have the RS-232 ports allocated to boxes that aren't as good with IR (like our AVR). The IR commands are stored in the MSC-400 and triggered from the remotes. The...

Ordered ours this morning. For $99 (long time customers) receiving the THR22 + AM21 + free shipping. Will be replacing our old HR10-250. The dual hard drives in our HR10-250 are starting to get louder during spinning which is sometimes a sign of impending failure. We have a whole home HD...

Not sure what you mean by "bypassing the setup". On my HR10-250, there is no setup bypass, even if you go into the Linux setup menus. At least I haven't seen a method.

Thank you Aaron and SpewHole. Perfect. Looks like an HR22 on the back, so that should make integration easy - I can even get rid of a converter box or two compared to the HR10-250. The eSata port will come in handy but I'm sure it has the same limitations as the HR22 for drive size. Andy

Can you point me to a picture of the back panel? I'm trying to work out how easy or difficult it will be to interface the THR22 to our system. Unfortunately the first look didn't have a photo. Andy

Thank you! I would not have thought about that. That must be why it still worked when I used it remotely in 2008. I'll just have to put a couple of covers on the Sat inputs to remind me not to hook the HR10-250 back up again after we get the THR22.

One quick question on upgrading my old HR10-250 HD-Tivo to the THR22. My HR10-250 is still running with its 1.5TB of hard drives. I'd hate to lose some of what has been recorded. Can I still access the HR10-250 hard drives even if I unsubscribe that unit and replace it with the THR22? Since...
  11. Sirius XM General Discussion
I'm looking at a vehicle that only has Sirius as an option. Our dealer talked with a SiriusXM rep that said that Sirius will be using the NBA channels for MLB play-by-play when there wasn't an NBA game. Any chance of this being true? It sounded suspicious to all of us that MLB would allow...
