Sometimes things just seem to be working backwards.

My HR21-200 works best [speed wise] with 0x2AF.
My HR20-700 works the same with either 0x2AF or 0x2CA.

    BUT:
DirecTV keeps trying to push 0x2CA to my HR21-200, yet hasn't pushed it to my HR20-700, that's on the national release of 0x2AF.

Both would work fine if only the HR20 had 0x2CA pushed and NOT my HR21.

Of course, we have little control over what software version we have. When your DVR's time comes, it will get the latest software, unless you're using CE releases.

But you already know that :)

So the latest firmware for the HR22-100 is 0x2AF? Both my HR22-100 just downloaded that firmware. I forced another reset but they found nothing newer than that.

Rolled back HR21 to national this morning [0x2AF]. 0x2CA tries to push every 20 min.
    HR20 is still on 0x2AF.
    Go figure.

If that's what they downloaded, then yes, but after I downloaded 0x2AF, DirecTV is trying to update [push] the 0x2CA version, every 20 min.
