Does anyone have a problem getting line of site to sat. 129 from the Southern California area?
Go to this site to find the look angle of the 129 sat.

No, 129 is much higher than 61.5 and other than the fact that this is a older sat putting out poor signal strength it is fine. That said what are you seeing in your way? Trees, buildings, cliffs, mountains?
I had a palm tree blocking mine until we placed a separate dish for 129 on the garage. Pretty strong now.
Signal strength is much lower on 129 as compaired to 110/119. If you are concerned about rain fade you might want to consider using a larger dish.
Not sure if it helps, but I'm in Stockton and I get a fairly high signal (98)
I am in North Orange county and I was able to find it. Was a little tricky but my pole where my Dish is hooked into is a little bent. I bet in the mid 70s on average for 129.
Should have indicated I have a Dish1000
With the bigger Dish I average in the 90s.
