Reading elsewhere that 2010 early bird price for ST is $314. If that's true, dang, that's getting up there.

wow, that's quite a jump....although we'll see what the deals people get will be....I know this year people were getting it for $159 with free superfan.....doesn't matter to me though, if they don't offer RZC separately for less than $100 or offer NFL RedZone as part of the Sports Pack, I'll take my $160 a month elsewhere :D

Of course that should be considered a rumor unless confirmed by DIRECTV, but the number doesn't surprise me. For my part, if I want to watch an out-of-market game I go to a sports bar. Even with the beer it's cheaper ;)

Do you have a source for that statement?

That's damn steep. If I can't get near the $150 deal I got for ST/SF 2009, I'll jump to FIOS and take the RZC there.

Let's just say the pricing is pretty well confirmed. Whether or not SF survives is not...

That sounds like a very firm statement. Again, I'm curious about the source.

How were people getting 2009 ST WITH Superfan for a total of $150-160? I'm new to DirecTV and would love ST with SF for 2011 and $150-160 is very attractive. Hell $199.99 as long it includes HD games would work too.

If this is true, I know several people that will drop Sunday Ticket. DIRECTV is so twofaced. Out one side of their mouth, Versus is dropped so “they wouldn’t have to pass the additional costs onto the customer in this difficult time”. FYI - This verbiage was found on ch. 603 splash screen.

Out the other side of their mouth, they’re raising fees for programming, Sunday Ticket and DVR leasing. Hey, I thought times were “difficult”…..

I understand new birds cost heavy coin. Just don’t BS the customer.

I called after seeing the cost posted elsewhere. It was confirmed by the CSR. I asked if it included HD and she said no, you need still Super Fan. I promptly cancelled my renewal.

I might have been able to swallow $299 with all the games in HD, but $315 + $99 for HD/StupidFan, plus a price hike in February on my base package. Oh hell no.

Only way DirecTV is going to get the message here. I reduced my base package on them too from Premier to Choice with no movie packs.

All about scorched earth on this. I’ve had enough. Maybe an $50 a month message plus the loss of an ST sub will get their attention.

This past season alot of people called & got superfan free, so $315 grand total is still very possible....but u already cancelled.

I will still be getting Sunday Ticket and SuperFan again next year but will see if I can get some discount on the price. Even if not though I will have it again next season.

I pay enough to DirecTv as it is. I Love NFL Sunday Ticket but DARN. $314 BETTER Include the HD access to ALL of the games. If this is true I may be cancelling. I've been a loyal NFL Sunday Ticket Subscriber ever since I first had DirecTv installed back in 1997. I have watched this package continue to go up year after year. 2010 might just be the last straw. Everyone should ban together and discontinue the package if it jumps up that high. That is just too much money to pay.

I'm done. I just can't justify paying that much any more.
