Occording to the web page that is exactly what they will do if you had SF last year.

I guess we can just cancel it when we call directv to get our annual ST $20/6 months credit. :D

I understand that, and that's a deceptive business practice. Not everybody pays attention to their statements like we do, and a lot of people are going to get screwed out of $50 for something they didn't ask for.

The other problem is that I don't want it period, even as part of a deal, since I'll never use it. At least with getting deals in the past, SF was something that I wanted so anything that included that for free was good. I'm afraid they'll offer free To-Go and nothing else.

Plus I already have 2 sets of $10/mo credits that run to March 2011 after making a deal over MMM last March.

I don't like it but I would not call it deceptive, bottom line is they will get exactly what they paid for last year (SF included Super Cast) but also if someone does not pay attention to their statements, well that's on them.

Well I called this morning to see what was going on with ST and ST extra online package. First I was told I only had ST then after saying why do I have two ST on my account they took the online off. Then I tried to get a better deal and was told they could not. So as soon as I mentioned dish they said wait one second. They came back with free superfan (which was a joke) and 10x6 months. SO I took it came to 239. So with free superfan throw in are they going to give me online then? I was just confused.

I'm trying to decide on when to call since I'll need to call to get DTV to remove the "NFL SUNDAY TICKET To-Go 2010 - Charge" or wait and call to attempt the annual price reduction.

You can call anytime before the regular season begins. I called in August last year and got, iirc, the $20 off/6 months and free "Superfan" (for HD game access). Since SF is included in the base price this year, I'm not sure what price break I can get this year. We've already read here about some that are getting nice deals but the question most of us are wondering about this time around, is, since the SF charge is history, will we receive the kinds of deals that most of us received last season?

I'm basically in the same boat. Auto-renewal has kicked in, I think I start getting billed for it in July, trying to decide the best time to call to "cancel" that and get a better deal.

Last year I got ST and SF for free. Was sort of an odd deal, I got upgraded to the Premier package for free (for 6 months), was charged for ST but they credited me back for it for those 6 months. Even more odd is *they* called *me* offering the deal, I didn't have to threaten to cancel. Am guessing that's not going to happen again this year.

I've had ST and Superfan for years. Today I noticed my account had ST and ST To-Go set for auto renew. Please be sure to call D* and cancel the To-Go option if you don't want it as I just did. It looks like they are trying to slip it in while we're not looking. :)

On the plus side it is nice to not have to deal w/ SuperFan.

OK,just got off the phone with "Amy" in Idaho, customer retention, got a sweet deal, I think.
    $20 off untill December.
$10 off for 2 years for HD.

I mentioned that DISH is now offering free HD..talked sweet to her and boom couldn't have been nicer. I never said I was cancelling or anything like that in fact told her the opposite, that I've been with you guys forever and thought I deserved some "credit".

Hmmm, just now realized how well I really did do! :)

    Cheers~!

With the price getting higher and higher for the complete package, it would be smart for Directv to offer packages based on a team. So if you want just your favorite out of market team, they would provide that for you and block the rest at a discounted price.
