Called D* for the free hd offer and received that. Then I asked them to remove ST To-Go. Was transferred to a specialist. While she was taking off ST to Go, she asked if I wanted to renew ST at the early bird price of 299. I waffled and said just take off ST to go for now. She then said, if you renew now I can give you $20 off for 6 months. So I jumped on it. $180 for ST is reasonable.

This thread is very interesting in that we all try to get deals. Wonder what would happen if D* stuck to their guns and didnt give us anything. I don't like having to barter for deals but then again they dont have to give us any deals.

Or better yet lower the price to say $199.00, then more people would sign up and we wouldn't have to call in all the time to get deals. ;)

Bingo :) Imo, that's the winner. I don't like to call and play CSR poker either. I had to do that last year for the 1st time due to the economy and I'll do it again since I have to call and cancel the "to-go" auto subs that appeared on my acct.

Or you can look at it as paying $119 for ST since you'll also be enjoying the $10 off for the HD fee during those 6 months, so its almost like getting $30 off for 6 months :D

In fact I'm gonna go give the CSR roulette a shot right now :)

Ok last season I got ST and paid full price for everything. I have been reading through this thread and seeing all these "deals" people are getting. Obviously I am going to cancel this ST to go thing as I would never need that.

Now I don't expect them to offer me anything but like I already pay for almost every channel they offer. I have the premier package and all the sports channels and movie channels. Plus like EI, and NBA LP and NHL CI.

Would they consider giving me a deal since I have like all those things or should I just expect I will be paying full price again?? I'm sure it won't hurt to ask but like I wouldn't even know what to say.

I just called and "David" told me that there would be no charge for the To Go, even though the early renewal shows up on my account now, since I am an existing customer and have had ST with Superfan for years with auto renewal. He also said that a charge would only apply to new customers. I don't know....some say they could get it canceled off their account and then there are others like me who are told that there will not be a charge. So, I guess I'll just wait to see if an actual charge of $9.99 instead of $0.00 comes up on my account.

Well, didn't go as I had hoped :( I got the Free HD for 2 years discount, but when I asked to be transferred to someone so that I could talk to them about Sunday Ticket the girl said she could help me and said the best she could do was $299 or a 6 or 7 pay plan, no $20 for 6 month discount :( I'll give it another shot later in the summer, not to mention I'm still hoping for a standalone RZC :crossingfingers: :D

$319....no more superfan. I think you can watch online and your phone for an extra $50 but most of the superfan (HD, redzone channel, fantasy info) is now rolled into the normal package for $319.

Was that 20 off per month? I thought my deal was good at 39.99 for 6 payments (240). Actually was 49.99 then a 10 dollar credit.
I'll take the 60 off early bird normal price this year. For anyone wondering they do include HD in ST this year for everyone.

When might the billing start for ST if I added it to my account now for the 7 payments option?

I do have this but it is dated a few days back.
    05/29/2010 XXXXXXXX4318 NFL SUNDAY TICKET To-Go 2010 - Charge $0.00 $0.00

I did tell them to take it off b/c I would not have a use for it but To Go is still in my My Sports Programming tab.

    I guess we will see.

Just called and got the 24 mos $10 credit and asked about the 20 for 6 mos credit for ST. He offered 10 for 12 mos if I went up to CHOICE from my grandfathered TOTAL CHOICE. I knew I would lose some channels, but I went for it.

I called last night to about the 'Free HD' deal. I was able to get the $10 credit for 24 months for HD. While on the phone I asked the CST if I could receive the same $20 off for 6 months deal I had last year to help bring the cost of Sunday Ticket down. She put me on hold and said I could get the deal and asked if I wanted $10 for 12 months or $20 for 6. I took the 6 month option. I tried to see if I could get the ST to-go for free since I they gave me the Superfan for free last year, but was unable to get the $50 off. I'll still probably end up ordering the ST to-go since my wife and I usually have 2 different games on our laptops while the main game is on the big screen.

Overall I'm really happy being able to get the $10 for 24 mos and $20 for 6 mos.

I did try to see if I could get the NFL Sunday Ticket to-go add on for free, since last year they gave me the Superfan for free. She said she was unable to waive the fee for that. I'll probably order the to-go add on anyway.
