On fatwallet I was reading of existing customers who were able to get this deal for this upcoming season. The only reason I am hesitant is because I don't want to give up my legacy package, which I assume will happen after the 5 months is up (that I won't be allowed to revert back to the legacy pkg and will have to get a current one). I also wonder about my existing new customer credits that still run until 12/10.

I also have too many credits on my account....and i am only paying $5 a month on the choice extra package with 5 refferals with my new customer promo...i try to add 2 refferals every 6 months....all i do is invite some friends over to watch sports and i will get at least 1 refferal!

OK, so if you auto renew and don't call for a deal, how much is it with computer viewing (which I need?) I'm having trouble sorting this all out.

$50 more than the package price. Mobile "On the Go" viewing is now the only extra-cost option (SuperFan is included in the "base" NFLST package).

FWIW, I upgraded to Premier today and got an additional $20 off for 6 months.
I called retention and they always come through for me. Even though I'm already done paying for ST he added the extra credit. Gotta say Ive really happy the way D* has treated me the last few months.

6 for $49 is right, but you can absolutely cancel the ToGo part.

i had gotten sunday ticket at the 49.99 price and told i was getting free nfl to go. But the nfl to go was not added to my account instead of calling i decided to send an email but they just told me that i hadnt gotten it and to call directv back. So i did just that, i asked about the discounts the regular CSR didnt know about the 20 dollars for 6 months discount so she decided to transfer me to a specialist. He saw the discounts added them to my account so now im all set. Took two calls and an email but free NFL to Go and 120 off over 6 months is pretty good.

Has everyone got their bills for ST already? I'm showing as purchased on ch 112, but my billing statement doesn't show it at all...

I just got my statement today, and it's still the normal package price.

I'm only showing the NFL ST at $0.00 right now, which is the heads up that it will be billing soon.

I believe July is the first statement with amounts appearing for the "6-month payment" option.

13 minutes on the phone with Directv got me:

$10 off 24 mo after agreeing to auto bill pay
$20 off for 6 months for the Sunday Ticket
    Free Showtime for 3 months.

She offered me the free Showtime without asking for it but I wanted to make sure I got the NFL Sunday Ticket credit. So I declined the offer at first and asked for the Sunday Ticket deal. She told me about the $20 off for 6 months and still asked if I wanted the free Showtime.

The deals are out there to be had. She said I was a long time customer (since 2002) and my account was in good standing (never missed a payment).

So if you qualify, the deals are there!:)

theyre giving the 20 dollar for 6 month deal like water. its the current one on the books...everyone is getting it and its nothing special. it has many names like "basdis" and "6mosnfl" or whatever, but you can only get one. i called when i told them i was dumping warner cable and needed it to pay off the early fee. now i guarantee you if i call again and ask for the 20 off for 6 so i can get sunday ticket ill get the bs excuse that you can only have one 20 for 6 credit...even though they have different names...so people, we really arent getting anything special. someone NOT getting sunday ticket can call and get the same deal. and the 10 off for HD for 2 years also means nothing. everyone is getting that also, and before even one year is over theyll be doing away with the fee altogether...so basically youre still paying full price for ST. it just all comes out of the same pot.

You lost me....people with ST are getting:
    - $20/6 mnths ST credit.
    - $10/24 mnths free HD credit.

I didnt see anyone without ST post that they are getting both ?

I made the same phone call and when the CSR couldn't give me the $20 off I decided to cancel. Told her she probably did me a favor and saved me $180. Since I get the Steelers every week, I really don't need Sunday ticket.

She transferred me to the premium department to cancel and they offered me the deal.

I'm happy for the $20 a month but I wonder if I wouldn't have been better off not paying the $180.

On the other hand, last year was my first year with Sunday Ticket and I did have a lot of fun with it.

I'm sometimes amused when people say they won't leave D because of Sunday ticket. I talked my wife into Directv years ago when Centre Video dropped Court TV. I haven't looked back.

I post this each year & this looks like a good place to do it again....

My Top 10 reasons why i NEED ST:

    1. Watch entire Cowboys games every week.
    2. Avoid having only 1 game at either 1:00 or 4:15 every week.
    3. Here in NY because of Giants & Jets without ST it would be multiple Sunday afternoons of only 2 games.
    4. Dont get stuck watching a local team if they are bad instead of another good game that is blacked out.
    5. Between betting $$ games & fantasy football that extra income usually pays for the season.
    6. Dont have to worry about network leaving national game early to get to local team game.
    7. CBS/FOX "Flex Block" 10 good games that wont move to Primetime but now i still see them.
    8. Red Zone Channel & Game Mix Channel & NFL ShortCut Games every Monday.
    9. Always have gotten the $20/6 months credit.
    10. Its just sooooooo Fun !!
