I dunno what the 44.99 would be for. They've been adament about RZC "NOT" being available as a standalone. (hence the "free" RZC gifts) If they gave it an actual price, everyone would be dropping ST and just getting RZC.. As far as how it shows on the account, I've no idea. But Im sure someone who knows will come along shortly and let ya know. If you scroll back a few pages there have been a few who copy/pasted their bill, after getting one deal or another. Might be able to find someone who got the free RZC and see what it looked like on their statement?? Good luck! Im gonna be calling here shortly myself.. I'll post back if/when I get a deal.. ;)

I just called in and got NFL Sunday Ticket for $80. Here's how:

    1. Called in, said "cancel, cancel".
    2. Got retention, stated that I couldn't afford NFL:ST and was looking for any deals, otherwise I was going to cancel.
    3. Representative stated there were no "deals" directly for NFL:ST, but could do some sort of account credit.
    4. After reviewing account information (six years in good standing, Premier Package w/ 3 receivers total, never had NFL:ST prior) I was first told of the $20 x 6 Months offer, then immediately told I qualified for $20 x 12 Months.

    $320 - $240 = $80

In speaking with the rep, he spoke as if the $20 x 12 Months was directly related to me having the Premier Package. I wonder if this in some way related to the cold call offers others have gotten to upgrade to Premier with a significant savings?

Pretty sneaky. Start a stand alone RZC the 2nd week of the season so that those who already have already paid for ST can't drop it and order only the RZC.

What's the "Premier Package"?? I've seen in another thread where it's been offered for $64.99 and comes with FREE sunday ticket.. (I think they need to call you, for the offer though) But I get Total Choice w/HD and a DVR for 79$/month.. I've still not called.. Keep reading about all these great deals but dont want to call and blow it.. lol

EDit: RatPatrol, Im pretty sure you can cancel ST at anytime? (I could be wrong, but I think that's what I've read)

From what I've heard on here once the season starts you can't cancel it. Or is it you can cancel it but you still pay for it? Something like that.

I dunno, someone who knows for sure will chime in shortly.. I do know there gonna have a mutiny on their hands if they do start offering it as a standalone, and dont let people change who've already paid for the ticket.. I just tuned into RZC and didnt see any "buy now" options though.. Anyone else?

Called in this morning and ordered Sunday Ticket. I just said programming or something like that. A guy came on and asked what he could do for me. I told him I was interested in getting Sunday Ticket if I could get the same deal a lot of my friends were getting, $120 off and free To-Go. He said let me look at your account, paused for a second, and then said I can definitely do that. Set me up right away. Total time on the phone was probably less than 5 minutes.

No I'm wondering if anyone knows how to get the Sunday Ticket To-Go thing to work? I'm at the website, and I'm signed in, but every time I hit the Start Watching button, it just opens up the exact same page again in a new tab (using IE8). Does it not start to work until closer to gametime? I'm at home today so I don't really need to use it, I just wanted to see what it was like.

I see what the 44.99$ thing is now.. It's just the monthy fee for Sunday Ticket, if you want to buy it.. It shows up on all the NFL ST channels.. (MIX, RZC, Game Channels, Ect.)

I believe only a small number of NFL Sunday Ticket subscribers would drop the ST in favor of the RZC if the RZC was offered as a low cost, standalone channel. NFL Sunday Ticket fans are football junkies and the RZC by itself it not enough football. Speaking as someone who's had the ST since 1996, I find it very entertaining and useful. I love to be able to go a live game and see what's happening and not just get a scoring summary. I couldn't care less about fantasy football; I am just a pure football fan. My favorite team, the Colts (Colts fan from the 1960's) is not on via NFL Sunday Ticket that much because they are one of the elite teams and their games tend to be national, marquee games on Sunday/Monday/Thursday night football but I love the ST anyway.

Just called in and bit the bullet because I only have ONE game on here at noon...

I said "I was offered a $120 credit for ST making it $199 and was told I had 5 days to think about it and all back"

She said "okay sir I can honor that"

Then added To Go for free

I'm happy :)... wonder what would've said if I said he offered a $150 credit? Ha. She was REALLY easy to work with it took like 30 seconds

The standard price for ST either at Shaw or Bell (Canadian Satellite) is only $199. Asking $320 is really a ripoff.

In the US it is definitely over priced, but I think the Canadian price is based on popularity. But on the other hand Bell charges about $208.00 for Center Ice and in the US it is $172.00, again a popularity issue.
My money goes for CI, a lot more live sports for less money.

No all the games are not broadcast on NFLN during the week.

It always amazes me that people will post a comment about something that they obviously dont know much about.

For what it's worth guys... noting to my previous post. This was the easiest way to get it for $199 and To Go free...

Call retentions by saying cancel. Say "I spoke with someone last week who offered a $120 credit making ST $199... said I had 5 days to think about it or someone would call me. I haven't gotten a call on it yet but I've decided that's a good deal sign me up"

The lady signed me up without questioning which leads me to think what if I said $150 credit haha. I asked for To Go for free she said "sure no problem"

I wanted to milk her more but ehhhh

Just signed up. Was offered the 20 discount and I hesitated and said would think it over. She then offered an additional 63 off. I didn't mention cancel so I don't think I went through retentions.

I called retention on Friday about a billing error. After the simple billing error was taken care of the CSR asked if there was anything else she could do for me. I simply said "no, unless you want to offer me the NFL ST like I had last year when I moved"

After a few second pause, she said she would see what she could do and asked to put me in hold for a second.

Well I now have NFL ST and the Premium Programming package for the lovely price of $59.98... I had the Choice Package before at around the same price.

I guess it pays to ask for what you want.

Got an email a little later thanking me for using the movers connection program with zero's and blanks in the portion that mentioned the details of my move. I had just upgraded to Free MRV with Internet Connection with a free HD receiver, and free install, which means another two years in a contract.

    Regular Price Charged Price
    $99.00 HD Receiver $0.00
$99.00 WHMRV upgrade with ICK $0.00
    $49.00 Professional Install $0.00
    $319.00 NFL ST $59.99 x 5
    $111.99 x 6 Premium Programming $0.00
    $10.00 x 6 HD service $0.00 (24 month free HD)
    $7.00 x 6 DRV Fee $0.00
    $3.00 x 6 MRV Fee $0.00
    $10.00 x 6 2 additional receivers $0.00
    ___________________________________________________
    $1417.94 vs. $299.95 over next 5 months

I feel like I came out on top of this deal, minus the initial problems with MRV working. Pretty good week... :)

    Thank you D*tv

(CSR informed me that RedZone, HD and To Go are all included this year with no additional charges)
