Same here. MLB works on every device I have (TV, roku, iPad, iPhone, PC) except fire stick.
uninstall the app remove it from the cloud unplug your fire TV stick for at least 30 seconds ...after it boots up reinstall the app, log in again and try visitor feeds you should work on at least 1 feed a game (usually the visitor) ... if you work on both on the non free game of the day please post they must have fixed the new version of the app, but I am not holding my breath for that.
I just realized I'm getting the MLB Mix channel too!
I have Xtra, and I definitely haven't ordered EI. I tuned in to an active game to make sure, and I saw the ordering screen.
This is a mistake, right?
Yes. So why let them know in a public forum so they can correct it?
Right, because they missed the other posts in the same thread, but they'll see mine...
Even if they take it away, it won't be my fault, and nobody really has good reason to complain.
Who says I don't think the same about the other posts, too? Why does anyone alert about free stuff that is an accident?
Any reason why we're still not getting Blue Jays feeds on Extra Innings?
Dont know if it has been discussed on this thread, but folks who subscribe to T-Mobile can get MLB at bat as part of the cellular subscription at no additional cost.
Lack of satellite capacity, since DTV can't carry Canada's Sportsnet.
Also, the Blue Jays are the least watched team in the USA, so they are probably lower priority than the other teams whose RSN isn't carried, the Dodgers and Phillies.
All feeds are available online.
This year SportsNet has the NHL playoffs instead of TSN, so most night games are being bumped to SportsNet One which DirecTV has yet to use for Extra Innings.
Yep. And I'm pretty sure they don't use any Phillies games that are on The Comcast Network either.
They have in the past. Mlb provides the feed so it's not a choice for Comcast at all.
So does that mean that MLB provides the feed for the Blue Jays games on RSN one but DirecTV just refuses to show it?
No. It means that DTV does not carry Canadian sports channels. So when it needs to carry Blue Jays games, it has to open up satellite transponder space for the signal. Since they already have the game from the opponent's RSN, they may or may not be able to add in the Canadian feed, depending on availability.
This exact same issue explains why you might not see feeds for the Dodgers or Phillies. If you really need to see the Jays' side of things, you can watch live on mlb.tv.
No Blue Jays, Phillies, Dodgers, or Cubs feeds on Extra Innings tonight. Weird
And if you had digital cable's version of Extra Innings, you wouldn't have the Reds, Marlins, Yankees, Orioles, Phillies, Rays, Indians, Tigers, Dodgers, Athletics, Rangers, Cubs, Diamondbacks, Mariners and Padres feeds. The Dodgers/Brewers, Athletics/Twins, Rangers/Astros and Diamondbacks/Rockies games would be SD only. And there's a risk of the Mariners/Angels and Padres/Giants being joined in progress if the Reds/Phillies or Marlins/Nationals go past 10pm.
Meanwhile, Dish's site doesn't have a schedule for May and their online program grid doesn't list the MLB channels, but at least until the end of April they have yet to show any OTA feeds or RSNs they don't carry, so no Yankees, Dodgers, Mets, Blue Jays, Phillies, Astros feeds, and if any of those teams were playing eachother the series wasn't available.
Been watching the Dodgers feed since the beginning of the game.
Phillies are on channel 730
Dodgers are on channel 740
Cubs are on channel 742
As for the Blue Jays, they're on SportsNet One tonight because of the NHL playoffs. After this round it should get better, more NHL games will be on CBC instead of SportsNet.
Weird. My receiver didn't ever switch those channels on. The other RSN feeds were fine tho.
Directv is by far the best place for the sports packages. I do think that once new satellites are able to expand capacity, Directv should make an effort to expand Canadian feeds of NHL/MLB/NBA.
