Got it to work on my IPhone. Nothing doing on Windows 10 Laptop.
Got it to work on my iPad, but I can't get video to work on my Android phone. I gives me an error trying to load media. I also keep getting an error that the account is in use (when it's not) when trying to cast to Chromecast from both the iPad and the phone. I get the same message trying to watch using the PS3 app, too.
So it works great on the iPad, and it worked great on my PC. But nothing else seems to work.
Windows 10 Version 1607 running fine on my HP PC.
Also working fine on my Samsung Galaxy 6.
Thanks KyL, I got it working. What a great bonus.
I'm guessing you need an Apple TV 4 in order to view multiple games at once?
KyL, when will we see the NHL Network avaible for streaming, is the contract up soon?
Thanks, by the way. I'd buy you a beverage of your choice right now if I could.
I wish I could reverse it, and get CI with my already paid for NHL-TV. :righton:
All mine does is just load continuosly after i chose a game. Not even the free game works. My flash player is current and am awaiting a reply from their customer service.
Hmm, I get this message when I try to activate with my Directv credentials:
"0033:The customer is not authorized for the content requested
Customer Service Code: VALIDATE_NOT_AUTHORIZED"
Maybe a stupid question, but are you subscribed to Center Ice?
I'm sure there's nothing sinister going on. Tying in provider accounts with NHL.tv is not just a matter of throwing a switch.
I'm guessing as details are worked out with other providers, they'll be available as well.
Yes. Purchased it through DirecTV.com with the single payment option.
Figured you were, just had to ask. . I wish I could help you, but nhl.tv is new to me, too.
I was having trouble last night with everything but the iPad, but this morning I was able to watch an archived game on my phone and cast it to Chromecast. I didn't change anything, so maybe they're still working some things out on their end?
I remember posting this this but forgot about it. Thanks for the reminder guys.
Like MLB, it's a great bonus to have and I'm thankful. On a tablet and phone the picture quality is excellent, but after trying it out vs the D* picture it's still on a pretty good delay and a grade down in picture quality.
Thanks again for following up on that link. Good job!
That's the reason why I cancelled my subscription to NHL.TV before the start of preseason with the hopes of this happening. I still can't believe this is happening though.
So all I have to do is subscribe to CI and then login into NHL.TV with my D* credentials, not my current NHL.TV login info, correct?
If it is like MLB-TV, that is all you have to do.
I think technically it's two different logins. But you can validate viewing NHL.tv using your DirecTV login. You just have to link your DirecTV login to the NHL.tv account. I was able to do it through the iPad app using the link at the bottom of the NHL.tv login page that allowed you to use your pay tv provider credentials.
I just signed up for CI and linked on my iPad. Had to use my existing NHL.TV credentials to login to NHL.TV after that. Was able to watch yesterdays games without having to login on my Roku-weird. PS4 has the best GUI for watching NHL.TV & MLB.TV IMO.
One more thing,
The rep I spoke to today said they were just informed that: As of today current CI subscribers have until December 12th to get a full refund on the package if they wish.
I have an iPhone 6 and keep getting the message I don't have access to view games after linking my account. Same problem on my PC. I can watch NHL.TV on my iPad, Roku, and PS4 though.
i have seen this happen, if you try to log on to many devices within a short period of time. You might try logging on at a later time, if you have been on several devices in a short amount of time.
You are correct sir. :righton: All other devices are off and the iPhone app is working now. The iPhone app is huge for me since I use it a ton when I'm not home.
