How about for the preseason games that are on NHLN such as the Vegas-Vancouver game today? Are you able to watch the archive with DirecTV credentials?

I'm not able to watch anything with my DirecTV credentials. I'll just wait till the regular season gets closer and try again.

Exactly as it was last year. I think it was on a couple of day before the season started that you could log into NHL.tv

DIRECTV didn't "release" CI pricing and sign-ups until 1-2 days before the season last year. And we didn't know NHL.TV was included until then also.

Pre season hockey is back. :)

Speaking of NHL.TV, does anyone know if the NHL app can do 4 screens at once like the ESPN app does?

    Outstanding thanks.

Looks like the games on the RSN's are blacked out, and I can't log onto NHL.TV either.

    NHLN it is.

just called and asked about CI. Was offered a one time credit of $34.99 to cover the first of four payments. I took it.

Guess we have to wait until the regular season for NHL.TV through DIRECTV. Just received this reply to my inquiry:

Thank you for contacting NHL.TV. We appreciate the time that you have taken to write, and welcome the opportunity to respond.

We apologize for the inconvenience. The Center Ice linking will not be available until the regular season on October 4th 2017. Preseason is not available for linking.

    Regards,
    NHL.TV Support

As trh said, it does allow you to watch up to 4 games. Plus it gives you different views on some games, such as the overhead goalie view. And on games like Montreal, you can watch the RDS French feed of the game.

I guess DIRECTV's deal with NHL.TV is only for the regular season games.

Hockey related question ..... I haven't read any season previews yet. Is Detroit going to suck again? I don't want to buy CI if so. lol

OK, but they started taking payments on my August/September bill, when I am not receiving the services until October? If we are not going to receive pre season games we shouldn't be billed until the service starts.
Last year I had the regular NHL-TV, without CI, and I was able to view preseason games.

You can pay for NHL.TV right now and get 'select' preseason games. But not all games.

Has anyone had any success with DTV getting the package for cheaper than stated price? I just got DTV 2 months ago.

In the past, it has happened, but as a new customer I doubt you would be able to get anything. As a new customer you probably got ST free already.

I've attached (hopefully) a zipped ICS file of all the games this year. Every team. You can open the file with Google Calendar or Outlook and on a Mac. It should also adjust the times to your time zone. I used 2.5 hours for each game except the late games on the west coast. Also, some times will change based on TV coverage; usually nationally broadcast games.
