On the Spectrum guide it shows tomorrow nights game time (10:30) as "Inside the Magic" on at that time, on FSFL Spectrum cable.

Panthers are an odd club. I remember watching one game on DIRECTV that was a re-broadcast of their jumbo-tron as Fox Sports FL decided not to have a camera crew/announcers cover the game.

The blackouts state that they apply for games broadcast on local and national television. So if Fox Sports FL isn't going to carry the game, there shouldn't be a blackout. Now try getting DIRECTV or NHL.TV to carry it will be next to impossible. But here are some contacts at NHL.TV (I think they would be more responsive than AT&T/DIRECTV).

MLB.TV does have the following caveat:
    • Home television territory blackout restrictions apply regardless of whether a Club is home or away and regardless of whether or not a game is televised in a Club's home television territory.
    Good luck.

The Magic game at 7:00 Eastern is on the main feed of Fox Sports Florida tonight, and the Panthers game is on an alternate feed. Presumably, cable systems within Panthers home territory will be switched to the alternate feed for the Panthers game, and other parts of Florida will continue with the main feed, which will be carrying alternate programming in the form of "Inside the Magic." (Also presumably, online listings sites may not be showing this correctly, because they may not be reflecting that feed switch.)

Shame on DirecTV for mailing it in Tuesday:

    No Leafs feed.
No Habs feed - for the 3,176th time
    No Jets feed.
    No Flyers feed.
    No Oilers feed.
    No Canucks feed.

On first glance, the rest of the week does not look much better.

We go through this every year. This is the week where NHL and MLB overlap, along with NBA and MLS, so a ton of RSN plus channels will be active, plus Strike Zone, College Extra and the alternates for channels like MLB Network and NHL Network. RSN plus channels, part time channels and alternates will always get priority over bonus feeds for out of market packages since they're needed to give in market viewers their games. After that, the next feeds to get priority are for games where DirecTV doesn't carry any of the channels involved. (i.e. games that are only available on Canadian channels, NBCS Philly, NBCS NW, Sportsnet LA, or regional OTA syndication) And if there's any space left after that, that's when they start picking up bonus dual feeds of non-carried channels.

Tomorrow night at around 7pm-midnight, every designated part time CINEHD channel will be in use. And for the SD feeds of the part time RSNs they're even dipping into some of the infomercial channels.

iNDemand is even worse tomorrow night since MLB and NHL share the 14 GAME channels. They're only carrying the home team feeds, so while they are getting some Canadian feeds, they won't be getting the away team's feeds for either MLB or NHL, and some late games might be joined in progress:
GAME1: Detroit @ NY Yankees (YES)/San Jose @ Vancouver (SNP)
GAME2: Milwaukee @ Cincinnati (FS Ohio-Cin)/Los Angeles @ Arizona (FS Arizona Plus)
    GAME3: Philadelphia @ Washington (MASN2)/Boston @ Oakland (NBCS California)
GAME4: Baltimore @ Toronto (SNO)/Arizona @ San Diego (FS San Diego)
GAME5: Colorado @ Tampa Bay (FS Sun Alt)/LA Angels @ Seattle (Root)
GAME6: NY Mets @ Miami (FS Florida)/San Francisco @ LA Dodgers (Sportsnet LA)
GAME7: Houston @ Texas (FS Southwest)
GAME8: Minnesota @ Kansas City (FS Kansas City)
GAME9: Nashville @ Buffalo (MSG Western NY)/Edmonton @ Colorado (Altitude)
    GAME10: Carolina @ Toronto (TSN4)
    GAME11: Tampa Bay @ Montreal (TSN2)
GAME12: Pittsburgh @ Detroit (FS Detroit Plus)
GAME13: Winnipeg @ Minnesota (FS North Plus)
GAME14: Philadelphia @ Dallas (FS Southwest Plus)

I subscribe to the Sports Pack. NHL Network isn't included (go figure). During the regular season however, they make it available since I I'm a CI subscriber I assume. Usually they shut off the channel around the end of the playoffs. As of today it's no longer available. Anyone else in the same boat as me not getting this channel?

Unusual. NHLN is included as part of the CI package, so you should at least have it until the end of the regular season (Saturday). Maybe a refresh/restart of your receiver?

Anyone having trouble watching Center Ice tonight? SD channels working, HD channels say it's a future showing, while the game is on. This is on the HR54. HR 24 has same problem but it says we're not subscribed to center ice instead on the HD channels.

Called Directv support, they had us reboot then they tried sending a refresh signal or something. Neither thing worked.

I had to do a refresh last night after getting a not subscribed message on the CI channels. Had everything back in 30 seconds.

The playoffs are here once again.

    Stanley Cup Playoffs first-round schedule

I’ve said this before in the past, and I’ll say it again, but I’d like to see D* add a game mix channel for the first round of the playoffs and mirror the channels showing games next NBCSN in the guide to make it easier for viewers to find the games. I know about making a custom guide for it, but most people out there don’t know how to do it. Make it simple
    It would look like this
    220 NBCSN
    220-1 NBCSN overflow
    220-2 NHLN
    220-3 USA Network
    220-4 CNBC

Wouldn’t it be nice if the D* Now app could do quad PIP?

I know this will sound crazy but I wouldn’t mind seeing an all Canadian final with Winnipeg or Calgary and Toronto. But I don’t know if they can make it that far.

Or maybe a Nashville - Tampa Bay final?

What do you guys think, who’s your teams?

Enjoy the playoffs, I know I will be. :)

I'm a Bruins guy. It won't be them. Or Toronto.

Out west....maybe Calgary. Think you're not going to see your all Canadian final, much to the NHL's relief!:)

    Hey, TRP.

A few weeks ago, when the Habs were in, I booked a flight to Montreal Wednesday morning for a week, thinking I'd get to see games 3 and 4, next Sunday and Tuesday.
    Oh, well.
7 nights on Crescent Street will still be a blast - and a blur!

    A few great series coming:
Leafs - Bruins: Bruins in 5
Knights - Sharks: Knights in 6
Jets - Blues: Jets in 7

Bolts, Caps, Pens, Flames win easy.

Wild card series is Stars - Preds.

Best 2 weeks of the season coming up ! ! !

NBC should have a press release with the channel and commentator lineup sometime Monday here:

    NBC Sports Pressbox

And thanks in advance to everyone for "No Spoilers" here.

Only in Vegas and Pittsburgh (ATT markets) are there local blackouts in Round 1.

For the third consecutive postseason, NBC Sports’ coverage of Stanley Cup Playoff first-round games on NBCUniversal cable networks (NBCSN, USA Network and CNBC), as well as NHL Network, will air side-by-side and will be available for streaming on NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app in local markets alongside regional sports network game telecasts. (Local blackouts apply in Las Vegas and Pittsburgh in the first round).

Isn't NHL.TV a regular season package? So it ended live games as of Saturday. Did you get your subscription due to a DIRECTV CI subscription? DIRECTV CI is also a regular season package that ended Saturday. And aren't almost all the games being broadcast nationally? If so, NHL.TV won't broadcast those.
