So who does everyone want to win?

Well, I hope I don’t offend anyone, but I’d like to see the Nationals win only because they haven’t won one yet.

Would not be surprised if the Nats won the Series. Their pitching might be as good as the Astros. I'm gonna stick with the Astros, should be a good series. I'd like to see MLB make the DH part and parcel of every World Series. Make every team in both leagues use the DH, just for the Series. If that works out maybe we can get pitchers out of the batter's box.

I’m hoping for the Nats. The way they beat my Dodgers, I almost expect it... but first World Series,I say go get it...

I have placed a couple bets on the Astros but I would not be surprised if the Nats won the series. I don't think they are gonna win tonight but that pitching staff sure would look good in Pinstripes. So would the Astros pitching staff. If they can deal with Cole and Verlander...

Every game starts at eight o'clock. No wonder kids don't care about MLB. Probably gonna have a long time between innings and I can see every game lasting at least 4 hours.

Well of course. How else are they going to cram all those commercials in?

They are now slipping in the commercials on the 4K channel. We noticed it in the previous couple of games. It went from a nice silent picture between innings to split screen field view and commercial. At least the NFL games are still commercial free; for now

I have vivid memories of listening to the games way past my bedtime (in bed under the covers) on a portable AM radio with a single ear bud. Back when the two wires were twisted together.

Any idea why the game isn't being broadcast in 4K? I came home last night, flipped over to channel 105/106 and just expected it would be there since. Especially since the ALCS game in Houston was on that channel a few days before. I Googled for awhile last night and never found an answer. All I kept seeing were articles that kept saying Fox was going to have an 8K camera at the game.

The 8k camera is for super slow-motion replays.

My guess for why it's not being shown in 4k is that it's on broadcast TV. The other games were on cable channels. It's a 'rights' and money issue.

The ALCS was on FS1, which Fox owns directly. The WS is on FOX OTA, which is made up of affiliates owned by other companies, which make their money by inserting local ads. Since a 4K broadcast would be national and cut into the profit of the affiliates. Fox’s current contracts with its affiliates do not permit it to do this.

Probably get redone in the next go round of affiliate agreements.

Hypocrites they are. Feed us BS during the season about shortening the games and when the playoffs start that goes south quickly. Money is all they care about.

They've been doing that this season a lot, didn't start in the playoffs. Annoying, isn't it? Any chance to make more money.
