I just got my Hopper 3 installed a few hours ago, so I am still learning stuff. What are the 4K channel numbers?

540+ (the toggle window that reveals >
    540-01 4K
    540-02 4K HDR
There were 3 Channels but the 3rd channel would come and go and come and go . . .

They're there, but there is rarely anything on. The World Cup was Great!! though.

if if a show is broadcast in 4k then dish also will broadcast it in 4k as well. i was happy being able to watch the dodgers in 4k;). 4k is amazing me and my brother watched skyscraper last night in 4k and lets just say he was blown off is seat by the PQ and audio quality he said it was like he was in the movie:D. and that was watched a blu ray. now we have to go shopping for a new set and player:D. as he was against upgrading to 4k i upgraded to 4k without hesitation:)

i do have 2 blu ray uhd players and yes the disc looks way better than dish or any other source!!! as a disc has a higher bitrate and is not compressed to death.. OTA will be interesting to see how badly compressed once they go 4k and start adding more and more sub channels to!!!

I would bet it will not happen in nearest future … say, in 10+ years

3 4K channels are back. Are they going to be doing anything with them?

The 3rd one 540-03 4K2 that was added this week is for Planet Earth: Dynasties on BBC America.

If there was something on more often and besides basketball I may do some rewiring to get the full effect. My A/V receiver does not pass thru the 4K signal.
