61.5 bird in CT

    Hello Im getting a upgrade to a 622 I have a dish 500, CSR said they will have to install a second dish to get 61.5 sat for HD, My question is will it be difficult in Enfield Ct to get signal of this bird is it lower in the sky than the other SATs I get very strong signal with my dish 500 now at I think 119 and 110.
    Also was wondering if the OTA on the 622 was better than the 942 or the same

    No. Some on the west coast have had problems with 61.5 (but some there even prefer it to 129). But its the standards HD solution for all the NE. The satellite is over Brazil. Enfield is about 72.5 so only 10 degrees east of you. The standard satellites at 110 and 119 are actually harder to hit for you.

    It's not lower, but it is in a very different direction. If you have trees or hills, you might have a clear view on one but not the other.
