I have been using a 622 for several years with three satellites, 110/119 on a DPP twin, and the 129 on a Dual, all with no problems. To get the Sling adapter, I recently upgraded to a 722, which appeared to work normally with the same configuration. However, every couple of days, the 722 would start to get either "Total Signal Loss" or "Partial Signal Lost" errors. These errors often could be cleared by power cycling the receiver, all though not always. When the problem occurs, I can typically see signal from one of the satellites, but it's not "locked".

When the problem is happening and I do a test switch, instead of going to the testing "1 of 3" it instead does a "1 of 38", and typically one of the satellite inputs updates twice as fast as the other.

I had the installer come out last week, and he replaced the 722 with a 722K, but the same problem is occurring. Because it doesn't happen immediately or reliably, I can't show them what's wrong so he and I are both just guessing.

Anyone see this problem before? Is there a difference in the voltage supplied to the switches between the 622 and the 722? I'm having the installer come back this week and I want to have an idea of what to try next.

I'm not sure how to fix the exact problem but wouldn't switching to a one dish western arc setup possibly fix it?
