722 unresponsive

    I just recently switched to satellite from cable and have one 722 receiver and a 721 receiver. I've had some trouble with the 721 receiver not responding to the remote for a couple of minutes on more than one occasion.

    This morning my 722 would not turn on at all from my remote. I then tried the power switch on front of the box with no response. I unplugged it and did and tried the hard reset like I used to do on my old TIVO by holding in the power switch while I plugged it in. Everything reset and it worked again for a while. Now it has stopped responding to the remote again and also it will not turn off or respond to any of the switches on the front panel.
    I'm doing another reboot but I guess this might keep happening. Is this just a bad unit?

    I bought the 722 from Costco less than a month ago. I guess I can still return it and swap it for a new one. Anyone have any other suggestions?

    Call Dish Network tech Support - they will probably send you a replacement unit.
