Anyone else just have ESPN, etc.. go down with a signal loss? In Iowa if that helps.
Oops. It's back up. Must've been a hiccup somewhere.
Same thing here in IL, just a few minute ago, with USA.
Experienced it a couple of days ago, also.
Same here with ESPN & ESPN2 in Texas.
had the same thing in south texas on fox
Does someone know which satellite DTV broadcast channels 696 and 698 in the San Francisco Bay Area? I have a Winegard Slimline on the roof of my RV. The dish looks sats 101, 110 and 119. i have all channels with a problem. However, When I go to 696 (Warriors) or 698 (Sharks) i receive the 771 "Searching for Signal". I do not know where to star to troubleshoot as my DTV at home has no issues and the broadcast is there. Depending on the situation if I reboot the receiver several times, I receive the channels. Could someone help me!!!! No Warriors or Sharks while camping really becomes a torture....
696 and 698 are broadcast nationally via 101 (transponders 2 and 16) in SD and via 103 in HD (which is probably how you watch it at home)
Can't think of any reason why you would have problems on ONLY those stations in your RV.
Thank you Slice. Do you know by any chance which transponders on 103? Is 103 Regional? Until 2 weeks or so ago, I had no problems. I am suspecting that some misalignment is taking place on the narrow band on 103. I will check the signal strength as I can only see the lock on 101, 110 and 119. I know that 99 and 103 are received on the central LNB, according to Winegard. Also according to them once the skew is set 99 and 103 should be spot on.
Do you happen to know which other channels I should be getting on 103? This will help me detect if other channels on 103 are also off.
They're on national CONUS beams. Both 696 and 698 are on 103ca TPN 18
