    Hello,

Late last year, I moved into a house that had a dish setup previously. I had connected my HR44 and one of the HR24's and has been working for months with no issues. I recently connected my other HR24 and the HR20-120 and they both work for half the day and then on the HR20-100 I get the 920 error and on the HR24, I get the 775 or 920 error. I have removed and reseated all coax connections, reset the power inserter, factory reset the receivers, went through the setup again. It works for a while and stops. I am restarting these two receivers every day at least once. Attached is the diagram of the setup.

That looks like a normal Slimline dish. Its LNB only supports up to 8 satellite tuners. You have 11 -- 5 tuners for the HR44 and 2 for each of the HR2x HD DVRs. You'll need to upgrade your dish LNB.

Thank you, but I thought that the 3D1LNBR0-01 supported 13 tuners?

That is correct. 13 tuners. 1 for the guide. 11 for your recievers, you should have 1 spare.

    Key word should.

LNB could be going out and some of the tuners may not be functioning correctly.

I would ensure all software is up to date, and then do a total system reset. Unplug power to all recievers. Unplug your power Inserter, wait about 30 seconds. Plug in Inserter, wait about 30 seconds. Plug hr44 let it boot up all the way to live TV then proceed to powering up the next. And so on. Each reciever 1 at a time. If that holds up you should be good. If not. I'd see about getting a tech over and testing your LNB.

Looks can be deceiving. That many different errors. I can promise there is a faulty connector, line, or LNB. If you disconnect one of your boxes, and the errors stop. Points towards LNB, if only 1 or 2 recievers are giving problems. Swap locations and see if the error stick with the reciever, or with the location. That would point to cable runs. If it's common everywhere. Could be LNB or splitter, I've seen the error several times when running off a 29vPI. I know some manuals say they can be used, I prefer running them on a 21v PI.

Look in settings and info and scroll down and see how many swim channels it says the lnb has. I’ll bet it’s an older 8 channel lnb.

If you go to satelite setup>signal strength>signal meters, you can go from tuner to tuner and see your levels. If some are showing nothing your LNB could be bad,

What I would suggest (based On your pix of the wiring) Get rid of the 2 way & 4 way Splitters --Currently your Hr44 is connected to the (PI-21 o29) IRD out put --They is why your having to reset your receivers. On one splitter -All receivers are joined!

Get a 8 way Splitter -- (power down all receivers) The Sat Down lead goes to the top- Put the Pi on Port 1 of the 8way -- Connect all the other IRDS to the other ports --I would suggest getting ride of the CCK - and connect the HR44 -(wireless) or Wired LAN Cable-from your router/switch.

When you have everything Connected --Power up one receiver at a time till the TV picture returns and -then move to the next one.

I have unplugged everything and then plugged in the power inserter and then powered one receiver at a time until there was a picture and moved to the next. All 4 receivers have been booted up and working for a coupe hours with no issues.

    Ok, ill remove the CCK.

The satellite line goes to a 2 way splitter at the house that feeds the two lines into the house. One goes to the living room which is where the HR44 and power inserter are at. The other goes to a closet where the other electronics are at and goes into a 4 way splitter and feeds the HR20 and two HR24's/

Okay- Your real issue is getting the Hr44 OFF the IRD port of the power supply -- I would suggest if possible to get the rg 6 to where your other units are connected to and put a barrel Connect Where the toway way splitter is Now (remove it) and Feed tall connection to "BOX location"

I have removed the power supply and the HR44 now goes direct to the two way splitter outside at house. I removed the CCK and connected the power supply at the 4 way splitter in my electronics.
closet. New diagram attached. Is this acceptable?

Much Better --IS everything Back up and running without issue? Getting the The Genie off the IRD port of the Power supply is less resistance for Whole home and internet traffic to flow to the other receivers.

I know you did NOT wire it --it was installed short and quick by an Installer (whenever) --It may have worked for a time long ago as that was practice --a lot of D* software has gone under the bride since those days .

It would be better if all receivers were on the same splitter -But if it's working without issue -I'd leave it --

Right now, yes, everything is working since i moved the power supply and restarted one by one about 6 hours ago. No glitches, freezing or any errors so far. Hopefully that was it and I will see tomorrow.
