The placement makes it likely to be an AT120 or AT180 addition. E* prefers to add to the highest package, but they have added at the AT120 level in the past.

    I'm hoping AT120, just to annoy D* customers. :D

Since it's on the 110 bird, it'll be AT180 probably. They just need to get the thing active, the preseason games start Saturday. Express Vu is launching it tomorrow, hopefully Dish will follow suit.

And those of you wondering what the NFLHD channel is that's being uplinked:

Since this begins Saturday it leads me to believe it will be active within the next 24 hours.

If and when it launches, it is likely that many of them will be available in HD. There may be some conflicts with MLB EI HD. Likely the NFL would trump them.

Note: Some are asking for certain answers to what is coming. At this time, there is no known official release about this channel(s) coming to subscribers and it certainly is not in a state which indicates anyone other than EchoStar Engineers(hackers notwithstanding) are allowed to see it. Expecting definite answers about whether content is coming is a bit premature.

Since it is in TC for D* subs, how will this annoy them?

Because they won't be able to say that E* charges a lot more for the channel than D*.

    I am a D* sub. It won't annoy me. I'll probably watch it on E*. :)

What would annoy me is if E* don't offer the channel(s). :D

I agree this is the most exciting news in awhile and I am not even a football fan.

Dish has the football now and they are fourth and goal. Will they score the touchdown? The ball is in their hands and we will find out soon.

This time I can say from my sideline seats, GO DISH!

I had the NFL network when I had Direct TV.

I thought all they had on the NFL channel was NFL news and Highlites. NOT games.

    Is this true?

IF they were to turn in on in the next week...how would anyone even know about it? This is one thing about E* that makes me go hum....

Do they ever use the 'email' feature on the STB and does anyone ever check it?

Preseason is quite busy. Something like 55 games in 25 days. Some live.

I think You guy's are missing the entire point of the NFL network being uplinked . Charlie E* is from Tennessee correct? Well obviously he wants to watch the Titans in HD without having to pay the competitions exorbitant prices!!! http://www.nfl.com/nflnetwork/story/8664135 ;) :p :D

    PLEASE E* ACTIVATE IT NOW!

4 New York Giants games in HD. I'm in heaven (still no OTA antenna so I've been stuck with SD)

Agreed Bob, the HD content from NFL Network is only during the preseason so I don't see what the point of uplinking this if they aren't going to turn it on for the preseason games. The games start tomorrow night, let's get with it E*!
