Can I have OTA with a dongle? Other than the AM21?

Is this a question about TiVo OTA or is it about Directv?

Considering he responded to a thread on the THR22, I'd say its about both.

AM21 works with the THR22. Nothing else.

AM21 works with any DIRECTV HD receiver to include the THR22 and R22.

HR20 700 has a Built in OTA tuner.
    AM21 not needed.

Do the Directv Tivo receivers use the same tv guide data as Directv receivers do? Basically could I get more ota sub channel listings if I had a Tivo THR with an AM21?

And the THR22 still has the Scan feature in the software using the AM21, so you'd get any sub-channel within range.

Old thread, but in my experience, the answer to this is NO.
I have an HR-22 and a THR-22, both connected to AM-21s in the NY Metro area. The HR-22 gets less subchannels than the THR-22 does and the program descriptions for the stations which they both receive do not match.

Tivo is behind THR22 and does provide own EPG

I see now that the THR-22 and HR-22 get the same basic OTA channels. The descriptions vary because the THR-22 uses Tivo's guide data. The THR-22 has more subchannels because it can scan for additional channels, but you get no guide data for the channels it finds. I don't think my HR-22 scans for unlisted channels the last I checked.
