Yes that is a Band Stop Filter that is usually used in connection with DECA on HR20 DVRs.
This is a strange thread. I would have never thought that the answer to the TS's problem would be Band Stop Filters. Never.
actually its not, using BSF in place of BBC was error.
I think Rich knows that but that he just didn't think it was the problem of using a BSF instead of a BBC.
Gotta love semantics. I could have phrased that better.
Or the typo that might have led to BFF or something like that...:lol:
I reread my post and I think I wrote that correctly. The answer to his problem was that he was using an SBF in the wrong place. The resolution to the problem was to use BBCs.
Semantics. I think everyone who read my post knew what I was talking about.
You answer was correct...me thinks you missed the play on acronyms...
Nah, I got it.
Update and closure: I got the actual BBCs in the mail yesterday. The HR24 works great now. Got MRV (over ethernet) working easily, and got a remote problem answered by Edmund in another thread. I'm good to go. For this issue, anyway!
Glad you got it all fixed and working.
Good. I still don't believe this thread actually happened, but I'm glad you've got it straightened out. I would not have guessed the outcome, would have never crossed my mind. Great fun!!! Thanx.
