    On 4, 5, 7, 20 and 50 there is a message:

No need to call us -

We asre aware that this TV station is temporarily unavailable....
We'll have this channel back as quickly as possible
    Sorry for the interruption

I wonder what is going on. All HD locals going down at one time. The locals are broadcasting and are being distributed on cable.

Obviously it's a technical issue getting the signal from the DC local to DIRECTV. I'm sure DIRECTV will work as quickly as possible to restore them (if they're not back already).

We had an issue this morning just before 0500. Channel 9 froze (with picture) and channel 7 was just static. Channel 4 was OK and 9 came back after a minute or so but 7 stayed static. In my predawn thinking I thought it had to do with today being the original digital transition day, but didn't think much about it after it happened. As of 1610 their all still out.

Both of my DVR's are dead to local channels. I can see a glitch which might have something down a few minutes, but not this long. This long is a RGE (Resume Generating Event.)
