I have the AM21 tuner here in Southern Indiana, but of course DirecTV doesn't recognize Cozi on my WEHT sub channel 25.3. I'm currently using a Cleveland zip just to get 25.3 to appear on the guide so I can watch the channel. Is there anyone here who has gotten Cozi to appear in the guide? I don't need it on 25.3 (Denver has 25.3 Cozi-TV but it didn't work) I just want it on the guide to see wth is on Cozi.

I have done followed the instructions from coconut13 & it worked for Laff, Bounce & Escape, but not Cozi.

If you have an Hxx and do NOT have an HRxx, disregard:

You have the opposite problem that most folks with an AM21 have.
Most want to be able to record OTA onto their DVR on sub-channel(s) not included in their primary OTA AM-21 guide database.
The workaround that most of us use is to select a secondary OTA on the DVR that includes the missing sub-channel(s), which enables recording the channel(s) but almost always with the network and programming guide completely different than what is broadcast and recorded locally (as you have with Denver 25.3).
Most of us have a split OTA feed going directly into the HDTV OTA input, and use that OTA interactive guide (usually available) to view the actual schedule and what will actually be recorded at that time slot.
The recorded program is mis-identified in the DVR list, but if the number of programs recorded in this manner are few, it isn't hard to keep track of what's what, especially if you elect manual record.
In a few instances, subscribers here have identified secondary markets which align the identical channel with both network and programming with the missing local channel.
This is relatively rare, but some have uncovered a few of these.
You wrote that the secondary OTA did NOT have to broadcast on the same (25.3) channel.
If it does not, and there is not a different (25.3) channel in that database, then you will have used both primary and secondary available markets, and though you will be able to view the programming schedule, you will not be able to record the program of interest.

What are ALL the channels your antenna receives. Sometimes, you can get the guide for a certain channel by using a low power channel that you antenna receives in your area. I don't know what your antenna gets for your area. Also, how many secondary zips are you already using to get what you want? For instance, if you receive channel 15 WYYW or channel 20 WTSN you can run a zip code to get a COZI guide in your DVR.

I have the OTA split to the TV & to the AM21. Currently I record 25.3 out of Cleveland's market, which is some independent channel WVIZ.

The WTSN & WYYW signals are too low to pick up with my OTA antenna that's mounted on my roof. The station's towers are too far away & I'm in a flat area where there are too many trees & hills for a decent line of sight.

This is the order of initial setup. I may have the secondary cities in a different order
    Rebooted receiver twice
    (Primary) 47711 (Secondary) Denver
    (Primary) Detroit (Secondary) Cleveland
    (Primary) 47711 (Secondary) Chicago

    I get 7.2 & 7.3 from Detroit, 25.3 & 47.1 from Cleveland.

Try running Fresno CA 93701 as a secondary zip. This should give you 7.4 KAIL from Fresno which carries the COZI network on that channel. That is if you have a 7.4 active in Evansville. It shows 7.4 WTVW as an ION channel. This might change your guides for 7.2 and 7.3 from Detroit to Fresno. Sometimes both will show. You just have to experiment with it and see what happens. If it works you will have the COZI guide on 7.4. It might be west coast time, or it might be the correct time for your zone. You just have to see what it is.

Thanks sir, yes WTVW recently added ION on 7.4
I've had multiple 7.2 channels in the guide before when trying to get Bounce to come up in the guide. I don't watch Bounce, but it bothers me if I at least can't see what's playing on the guide.
I'll try adding Fresno. FYI, since Cozi, ME-TV, Antenna TV etc.. don't keep their affiliates list updated on Wikipedia, I found this site Antennas Direct | List of Digital TV Stations for updated channels in for each U.S. city.

I think Fresno recently switched to ION on 7.4. It doesn't show on Rabbitears.info. But by looking on Wikipedia or Titan TV guide. It shows 7.4 KAIL as ION, now. To get Bounce to stay on your 7.2 guide make sure you run Detroit as your 1st secondary zip. The AM21 seems to retain the 1st run of any channel in the guide. Although not always.

My AM21 has no problem with keeping Detroit at 7.2 & 7.3 A matter of fact it's almost impossible to remove Detroit when I reset the initial settings. I'll redo the initial settings after I watch Emergency

    Here's what I'm currently inputting:
    Evansville Detroit
    Denver Fresno
Evansville Cleveland (to get 25.3 to show up on the guide)
A person really needs to carve out a couple hours for the 2 receiver reboots & multiple primary & secondary zip inputs.

Damn, it worked except that KAIL 7.4 is indeed ION! KAIL also has a 7.2, but it isn't Cozi. So I now have two 7.2 in the guide. I'll uncheck the Fresno 7.2
Looks like I'll have to look for another secondary zip that actually has Cozi on the guide.

By looking at Evansville's there is a channel 18 and 23 listed, or do you get any other channels that would be out of Evansville's market with your antenna. As you could possibly match up to COZI by using a channel like that.

Channel 18 & 23 don't come up when I run Evansville as the primary. They are very low power stations. I'm not sure if they are even on air these days. Here is what I get on the DirecTV guide using Evansville IN as the primary.
    7.1, 7.2, 7.3, 9.1 (PBS), 9.2, 14.1(NBC), 14.2, 14.3, 25.1 (ABC), 25.2, 31.1, 31.2, 31.3, 44.1 (CBS), 44.2.
7.4, 25.3, 31.4 & 47.1 are picked up with OTA but not recognized with the AM21

OK. If those are the only channels your antenna receives, there is no way to get a COZI guide in your DVR. But, I want you to go to your TV, through your TV input and check out ALL the channels your TV receives from the antenna (you might have to rescan your TV to see all channels received). Channels 15,18,20, and 23 for Evansville are not in D* database of channels and wouldn't show up on your DVR (even if your antenna receives them). But your TV input would show any channel that your antenna brings in. So if your antenna brings in any additional channels from the Evansville DMA or another close by DMA those channels numbers might be attainable (in your DVR) by running a secondary zip and could maybe be matched to a COZI guide on any certain channel. According to the D* database 7.2,7.3,7.4,25.2,25.3,31.4, and 47.1 would have to be picked up in your area by a secondary zip. Because those channels are not in the D* database for Evansville. That's where Detroit, Fresno, and Cleveland come into play.

I re-scanned on my TV's tuner, but 15, 18, 20 & 23 do not appear. They are probably very low power channels. I'll try monkeying with it tomorrow. Thanks for the help, very appreciated.

Fresno, Detroit & Cleveland do work as a secondary. I just need to find a secondary that carries Cozi on a secondary zip. I'll try to find one using this site Antennas Direct | List of Digital TV Stations

I've studied the situation, and there is no channel to get a COZI guide into your DVR with the current channels you are receiving. When you rescanned your TV tuner are there ANY channels received other than the ones you mentioned? If there are any channel numbers received other than the ones mentioned, it is possible to match up. But I don't know ALL the channel numbers that your antenna and TV tuner receive.

I found no new channels. The only possible way to get more is if I upgrade my current OTA antenna that's on my roof to one of the huge Channel Master type of antennas. Even that's not a guarantee if I do that.

@coconut13, I did a search of Adam-12 & the results had KCEN DT2 6-2 out of Waco TX. I used them as a secondary. They don't show up on my guide, but I can record series even though it doesn't record it because I don't get 6-2. My Record Series Manager has Adam-12 (0) on the list. I can see what's on each day but it is a pain in the ass to go through several hoops just to see. It's easier checking the Titan TV guide on my laptop.

Strange, the receiver allows me to record McCloud on Cozi-TV channel 6-2 that I don't get since 6-2 is Waco TX & I record the actual McCloud on 25-3. But it uses up both my two tuners, even though it's recording nothing from 6-2 .
At least I have the info for McCloud, but I can't turn the channel & watch something else since it's using both tuners. I do have 3 other receivers running to an 8x8 matrix so I can just switch to another receiver. A very odd workaround indeed.
