I've not seen it yet, and also don't remember how I voted. I generally just vote mostly blind, giving little thought to prediction answers.

Cap - I can look it up for you if you want (if Danny allows).

cdru - nope...I voted for the winners this time around. :) And, how do you figure you're getting 8 of those 10 points back? Your and my answers are just about identical on the bonus questions, so the max you'll get is 6 back (the one we differ on is the one you'll miss... :D)

I didn't look at those before I made the comment. After I made that, I saw that our answers were near identicle.

    Doesn't matter to me. :)

Ultimately, the results will be posted, I'll see my placing, and have no clue as to how I got there or what it means. :D

I counted 1-0-4-20 for the bonus questions. Does this jive with what others got?

I repeat: "Ultimately, the results will be posted, I'll see my placing, and have no clue as to how I got there or what it means."

    :D

I know, you weren't talking to me. I'm just so glad I have Tivo. I thought tuesday night was a two hour--didn't realize one was one night, one the other. Tivo snagged it and I can watch both tonight.

    I counted:

2 "Survivor" (one was actually "Survivors")

    0 "Iraqs"

5 Clue Boxes seen (2 of them was seen more than once)

18 Teams reaching Pit Stops (first and last 2 places from Leg1, first and last 2 places from Leg2, first and last place from Leg3, first and last 2 places from Leg4, first and last place from Leg5, first and last 2 places from Leg6, first and last place from Leg7)

What I didn't do was go back and see if any of these were included in the show credits.

Are you count Lynn's "Survive this" or something like that? There were also a few indirect references to Survivor but it wasn't actually said.

The for I have the clue boxes from the meat eating roadblock, the finding the island challenge, bikes/whitewater rafting, and goat milking/balancing.

I think you are missing a few pit stop mats shown at the begining of several of the legs of the team opening their clue. IIRC, at least Legs 2 and 3 showed a team at the mat opening up their first clue for the leg.

Nope. "Survivor" was said once, and "Survivors" was said once. I didn't count Lynn's "Survive this" comment.

I'll have to go back and look again, but we also saw the water tower clue box twice (once from a distance, and once up close).

I didn't count the begin from pit stop shots because the question specifically asked "How many times do we see a team reach a pit stop?" not how many times we see teams at a pit stop.

Wasn't the watertower cluebox the goat/balancing detour clue box? Or are you talking about the water cooling tower (the fast forward)?

I guess it depends on how you look at it. If they are standing on the pitstop mat reading their first clue, obviously they reached a pit stop. I can see either way. You have a vested intrest in saying 18 though.

Finally got to watch the extra episode. (got to fit it in last night since all my sci-fi shows are repeats)

    My own count matches Mark's.

    2 "Survivor" (one plural)
    0 "Iraq"
    5 Clue Boxes
18 Pit Stops (beginning of leg doesn't count)

I'll finish up the score sheet this afternoon.

    the finding the island challenge,

Here is your missing clue. There were two clue boxes shown for this. One at the start, and another on the island itself.

They are up. Sorry it took so long. Spring break was just back breaking. Stuck out in the middle of nowhere without a computer, enjoying the sun and surf. ;)

Double check for any errors. My brain isn't fully functional again yet.

Capmeister, you move up to 4th place.

4th? Wow. Not bad considering I missed a week. I think there's something to be said for the best guess/random answer method. I probably won't win, but it's still fun for reasons which I don't fully understand.

Maybe I'll make it to the final 3, then wind up finding out the winner in the middle of the night as I open a south pacific clue box. :D

Omissions (not errors) that I see:
-Marvin and Chaos both had Lynn marked correct, but Alex was the one that did the roadblock.
-Detour 1 scoring is weird. Mark Holtz answered the same as bgilmore and faster, but bgilmore is marked as having the faster time. Also, how can there be two zoos that have the most number of elephants? It's currently marked 3rd while a "correct" San Diego answer for Marvin is marked as 4th. If the elephant sanctuary is the "correct" answer, shouldn't it be marked 1st? Or if it's not correct, shouldn't it be marked at least after the "correct" San Diego answers. This all presumes that you are going to count a sanctuary as a zoo. If it doesn't count as a zoo, I would have thought markdl's answer of 6 would have been a more "correct" answer.
-mwgii got the bonus question 7 right, but credit wasn't given.
-I think that there are still that there are some missing scores from Leg 6. For those that were inactive, I would have thought that they would have gained 2 days for Q4.

Also, who where the other 3 people that when with Briag/Greg for the pre-season poll?
