Sure isn't. October 2nd is a Saturday this year.
The Programming Insider email yesterday stated that CBS was looking to put TAR6 on another night, rather than Saturday, due to suprisingly high ratings for TAR5. The Emmy win probably helped also. No premiere day or date has been announced.
What they should do is give it Survivors time slot after this season is done.
Survivor in the fall and The Amazing Race in the spring.
Alberta does its part for Tuesday night's finale of TV's Amazing Race
For those who didn't hear, Colin proposed to Christie this morning: Article
In related news, a women's shelter prepared a bed and lit a candle for Christie.
As for getting through Customs:
In Calgary (and I'm guessing most other major Canadian cities - though I've only been through Calgary and Montreal's airports) - you go through US Customs in Canada. Once you enter the restricted area of the terminal (all US flights were in one terminal), you were essentially in the US, so no customs in Denver, NY, or any other airport flying to major Canadian cities. Now I can't answer for the smaller ones, like Medicine Hat or Saskatoon...
I've actually done the Calgary to Denver but then to Houston route - and going through customs in Canada makes the "make a connection concern and getting through customs issue" become the "make the connection concern".
But is Colin's ox still broken?
Thanks compubit - I didn't know that. My only experience is flying from Denver to various points in Mexico.
Did anyone catch the CBS morning show yesterday? Damn I would have a hard time if I had to choose between Christie and Nicole! Without a doubt the two finest looking women the Amazing Race has ever seen.
BTW, Colin proposed to Christie on the air (on his knees no less). Brandon and Nicole are still together but things still did not seem lovey dovey as they say.
Chip and Kim tithed a portion of their million to their church.
