EWWWW! I rcommend playboy, hustler and high times, atleast they won't warp your mind......
:nono2: I would not crow to much about it being the Number #1 cable news choice, otherwise Direct will pull it and put it in the New HD extra package to milk another 4.99 from us.....seriously though, I hope they light it up soon, its very hard to watch any programing or news in SD now that the HD's have launched....
For what purpose? Lining your birdcage, starting a fire?
Too funny. This is how not to discuss politics.
Not any more. Fox belongs to Newscorp, who swapped their control stake of DirecTV to Liberty Media so Murdoch can keep Malone off his back.
Wow lots of angry people in here. Seems like Fox News being #1 sure does piss a lot of people off. I guess attacking a thread about Fox News makes them feel better or something. Weird.
Now to bring it back on topic...
I watch Oreilly on a regular basis but I am kind of afraid to see him in HD.
Even I personally don't like Fox News, I still think we should have it in HD.
Give everyone an equal opportunity: if that's what they want to watch, then we should let them have it at the maximum quality.
(Especially after seeing FNC-SD for the first time in like 5 years today, all I have to say is WOW! YouTube gives better PQ)
Let's get BBC World in Widescreen while we're at it though.
I've been enjoying their one-minute summaries online recently. CNN and MSNBC are what I watch secondarily.
Faux news is lousy. CNN is no better. The so-called news organizations prioritize on shock-value and celebrities, etc. Then they grind it and play it over and over again. Certainly not what was envisioned when 24-hr news first began broadcasting. I haven't seen news on TV for years. Do I need it in HD? I can wait.
When did this tread turn into a debate over which is better Fox News or CNN? I thought we were doing to discuss any news about the possibility of Fox News going HD.
And if the big networks have their way, you'll be reading your news from the TV screen!
+3 (to cancel out Ed Campbell's -2). Not political at all, just enjoy the reporters.
The minute Fox News was mentioned. It's a shame that certain members of certain parties have so much hate in them, they can't let the thread continue about the station being in HD. Not to mention these certain people making fun of the channels name, referring to republicans as "puppycans," you'd think we're in middle school... errr elementary school.
Thank you for the excellent support. We're happiest helping people and talking DBS.
How quickly was Fox Business put together? I'd think Fox News wouldn't take long to go all HD cams and whatnot.
Well, I think the fact that FBN had to construct the studio makes the difference. Since they were already making a studio, they went HD since they knew it was going to have to be done down the line.
I think in the case of existing sets at FNC, I think they may be doing them one at a time... Fox & Friends got a new set recently, and I wonder if they upgraded the equipment while they were at it. They were misplaced for a good week or so recently while the new set was being done. That's just my personal hunch, though. No article to back up my thoughts...
That sounds about right to me also... Studio B also just got a new set a couple of weeks ago.
Yep, and alot of People Still Believe in Santa Claus too !
I would feel like sticking my Head in the Oven
