It sounds low and muffled than other channels.
I agree, now that you mention it. I'm not a regular viewer, but it certainly has sounded better than this.
Lots of people have reported this. Looks like there is a problem at the channel provider.
I am also getting bad sound on Fox News, Fox Business, and tonight's Talking Saul on AMC. A couple days ago, it came through my stereo system sounding like cheap TV speakers. Yesterday, the bass was back but the high frequencies are still cutoff.
Some folks have reported that changing the Dolby Digital setting can fix this. I also saw a report that it was better today.
It's better but not completely fixed yet.
The sound is still muffled.
Agree, it is muffled.
Any update? It still sounds muffled.
I called in today and they said it is being worked on as we speak. Not sure why it would take so long to fix. Call if you are affected.
Cool. Thanks for calling. I emailed them but didn't get a response back.
i've noticed it too but thought it was just me. they make sure the ads are still nice and loud though
It still sounds muffled.
Same muffled sound here for around 3 weeks. High frequencies (sibilance / s-sounds) are still missing. Compare the talking heads on CNN or MSNBC to FOX and notice how muddled Fox sounds.
Got the same issue here as well. Tried turning up the Treble with very little effect. Hard when one has a hearing issue in the family.
I guess they are never going to fix the muffled sound?
Still not fixed.
I know joanne nosuchinsky but she left - bummer - couldve asked her for an inside # to call at least.
Fox News audio is still sounds muffled.
Last time I checked it was great on Dish so something about Directv feed. I don't watch News often primarily business on weekdays and weekends Foxsports 1 and 2 .
